How many from current team moves up to ECNL? With the FCA and Space Coast girls coming I would guess at least half of the current team does not move to ECNL.

You don't think the truth is OC has ECNL and you don't, and where is name calling? Go away I think you may be delusional.

Obviously, OC "has ECNL". The truth you want to bury is they didn't earn it.

Compare OCYS to a real ECNL Club- WFF. West Florida earned ECNL the same year CFK did- which is the same year OCYS "acquired" the league without earning it. 2 years into the league, WFF is third in the SE Conference and placed over two dozen kids in college programs- including 100% of their ECNL team all over the country.

OCYS: dead last and only half the recruits to the same local Florida colleges.

Nothing hurts. CFK was in over $107,000 debt. That is current liabilities, not long-term loans. They were headed for bankruptcy. Do you think ECNL is going to support a bankrupt club? HM's only play was to sell to OC. He kept ECNL in Orlando and sacrificed himself in the process. He never had a chance of taking it with him to FKK. Time to move on folks. Everyone did the right thing. The fact that you don't like the result just means you were raised a self-entitled little brat.

Then why are all the new coaches from other clubs? They targeted coaches on the girls side for a reason, so that they could influence their teams (Girls) into following them over. They did the same thing last year with AH. The tryouts have to be more competitive than last since this year there isn't a doubt about whether they have ECNL or not.

They were hired because of their records. These guys have some pretty amazing development history. Look at the girls who have gone on to play D1 and a couple are even USWNT. That is why they were hired. Will they influence some kids to try ECNL. I think so. Most players/parents follow the coach. The difference is this year it is not one team trying out against a mix of lower team players and one and two player clubs. It is easy for AH and DT to move their teams over when almost the whole ECNL program moved to FKK. They still had to play girls up and do all kinds of recruiting just to fill the rosters this year. Next week you will not only see the returning players from this year's ECNL, but entire teams from FCA and SCU coming to try-outs. Nobody is promised a spot. Everyone has to earn it. That is the whole goal of ECNL. Get the most talented girls on the same roster from U14-18. Then the challenge is having them learn to play together.

My guess is that some girls who normally start will not like sitting on the bench and will move on to FKK or Rush. Some girls will welcome the chance to play FPL because they will score 30 goals and be legends in their own minds. Bottom line is that OC should not only have a much better ECNL roster but a decent FPL roster to move girls up as injuries and defections take their normal toll on the ECNL roster.

Be honest. The development of the current U13s at OC was below par. Those girls have NOT improved. The coaching and direction is not in place.

I fully expect the rising U14 team to be one of the best in the ECNL SEC division. It would be nice to give Charlotte some competition. They now have the experience of playing ECNL and this year they will have new talent coming in to fill their weak spots. Hopefully TH makes a full recovery because that kid has national team talent and a great head on her shoulders.

Oh great, more of the "headed for bankruptcy" tripe. This was not a bailout as you revisionists love to claim. It was an acquisition. No surprises, due diligence period and a conscious decision to purchase an entity- including all the assets and liabilities. Yeah you guys LOVE to pretend it was all about liabilities when your English Master parachuted in as a savior. but you don't ever discuss 1800 paying members, ECNL league affiliation, a great and proven coaching staff and a premiere soccer program as part of the deal.

Just saw that FKK has been accepted in the NPL and FPL. Congrats to you guys! I see you are all not just "talk"
