Remember FKK did that with ECNL having played in 3 national showcase events plus national playoffs. The current ECNL only played in one this dec in Sanford. Look at the history of CFK before ECNL nothing big and now look having played ECNL. Don't bash when u don't understand the process. Congrats all all those players but ECNL has helped a lot of kids and it's great for central Florida

You're making the same excuse that you folks always have. The fact is that the OC faithful made big noise about getting their program on track after they rid themselves of the 'malcontents' and 'cancer' of HM. You didn't deliver. And no matter how you rationalize it, the truth is the players attribute success to their own hard work and the guidance of HM and his staff, and the programs they put together.

I agree with you if you don't have the quality then you won't go to a top school. You can't argue the fact that the schools the current FKK and
WFF kids are going to would have happened playing outside of ECNL. Previous history at both clubs didn't list nothing like the schools they did this year but both the 2013 teams at CFK and WFF were state finalist and champions just like this 2014 class.
The big difference is ECNL end of story

My player is part of that story- and ECNL was such a sorry mess at OC that it had little impact on her recruiting. HM, however had a very big impact.

If all it takes is a pink patch, why hasn't OC been successful? the answer is it takes more- a lot more- than a logo.

didn't your leader Hue sit a room full of people with skate and say it's the ONLY place to play. Didn't he call every player in central Florida and tell everyone he met if you don't play ECNL then you are wasting your time in those rec leagues and dying showcase events.

OCYS is not looking for the credit. Do you believe that ECNL didn't help your daughter. Playing in 4 ECNL showcase at u17 with 400 to 600 coaches at each event. Did that give your daughter a huge advantage to get recruited. Take the clubs and emotion away, ECNL delivers and provides players the best opportunity.

Bahahahahahahahahaha. OC would sell their mothers out to promote their club and limited accomplishments. Congrats to the girls playing in college and congrats to the girls who continued to play throughout their high school years. They did this without any help from OC. However, you can't have it both ways. IF you are going to say that FKK girls were only recruited from their one year (last year) participation in ECNL, then the girls who played at OC this year should be contributing their success to the clubs they played for last year.

By the way, HM said ECNL was the place to play if it is the correct training. College coaches say the same thing. It is not about ECNL for the sake of playing in front of "400-600" coaches. It is about a development process - which just about any club can provide if there is commitment. I see OC trying to make that commitment happen by bringing on new coaches. But it would be very difficult for me to believe that they have done a good since the departure of HM in the middle of the first year.

Bringing in FH from Space coast might pull the wool over some folks eyes but for players from SCU they know he is a coach on paper only. His bills are paid by FIT so don't expect to see much of him through most of the season. Once again, OCYS throwing everything at the walls in hopes that something sticks but in the end.... No real intent or focus to address the problems.

WFF is having their ECNL tryouts next week and most all other clubs already have their tryout information posted. I can't beleilve club doesn't have idea as to when tryouts will be so any information would be great, especially regarding ECNL. Thanks.

Imminent domain laws are solely based in the need to condemn a property to satisfy a greater need that is to benefit a public purpose. A single use stadium for 18,000 fans does not fit the criteria and precedence of the public purpose. The City Attorney for the City of Orlando wants no part of this case.

If they lose the imminent domain request this entire deal will get log jammed.

Tryouts at OCYS will be posted prior to May 7th is what i was told. My guess is ECNL/NPL and DA scouting will go on the week of may 19th.
The other channels and FYSA teams will begin May 27th. You can look at any calendar and go by history and figure some of these things out.
