you all are missing the point you don't make anything mandatory, think people.

You give a season ticket to every player in your club which costs nothing and they were selling them last year for $50 to any club player.

Now think about it the player has a free ticket as do the coaches and they go to the games now the player wants to go and how do you think he gets there? Thats right you offer club parents a discount season ticket for $100.

So you have increased your game day revenues without a cost to you.

No other way to look at it but that. You can say what you want but at the end of the day it's about players and kids. Orlando City Youth soccer will have everything!! Congrats!!!
they will flex thier power and squeeze the life out of the remaining central florida clubs.

Give me a break! Just play the game. If Mia and Landon are good, they will one day be paid to play. If they are unxoordinated retards like their parents, no amount of money will get them to play.

Life is full of disappointments Son, better get used to sniffing dog ***.

          Not Yet Spanky!!

Seattle and Portland were USL franchises a few years back. Rome was not built in a day. Takes a while especially when your dealing with Orlando soccer protector's like some of the top leaders of clubs that keep all the negitive stuff rolling to un aware parents. Hopefully the GS and the SB keep it positive and don't bash to much.

            how exactly is anyone bashing?

THe commisioner of MLS has stated he wants the 20th team to be the cosmos. He didn't beat around the bush he flat out said it. Even with ownership problems he still has not swayed from that.

After the 20th team they are not going to expand for a few years and at that time they are looking at Atlanta and Charlotte as well as Miami, tampa or orlando.

Would it be great to get it by all means but to think its a done deal is bassackwards.

CFK saw "the writing on the wall". an impending mass exodus of CFK players/families to OCYS.

CFK 's arrogance now has been reduced to smoldering, sputtering ashes after being consumed by what CFKers not too long ago referred to as FSA's "dumpter fire".
Hahaha! Nice spin. You act as though it was a hostile takeover! CFK and OCSC negotiated for months on the deal. Do you think OCSC would have even bothered with FSA if it weren't for the fields? Or do you think it was the fabulous management, 600 k in debt and shrinking membership that attracted OC?

Major League Soccer Commissioner Don Garber is coming to Orlando tomorrow to

evaluate Orlando as an MLS expansion market.

After a day of meetings with city leaders, Garber will be in Mojo Bar and Grill at 12:30 holding a fan Q&A that is open to the public. Doors open at 11:30am.

Show your support of us bringing a Major League franchise to Orlando by attending this meeting. This is YOUR chance to make a difference and make Orlando City the next MLS franchise. Be there as the doors open at 11:30am to express to the commissioner why Orlando should and will be the next MLS team.

Mojo Bar and Grill is located at 129 West Church Street, in downtown Orlando.

Do the math. That "impending mass exodus" is now ALL 1600 CFK members AND their coaches AND management walking right through the front door of your 500 member club. Be careful what you wish for.

Well a lot of us are on onside or the other about these mergers and one big club. Florida has one now. Let's all see how this goes. I think for the great players this will be great. The rest I wonder about.

I'm excited to see what happens. Good or bad. Will be interesting to see how the rest of the state moves after this. Tampa, Miami, Jacksonville areas.

Just remember the two phrases you will be hearing at the organizational meetings:

                      "We're putting our egos aside..."

"We're doing this for the kids..."

Oh, great...you mean to tell us the obnoxious, kool-aid drinking CFK parents are part of the deal? Dammit!

You're already a step behind Tampa (Brandon FC + West Florida Premier = VSI West Florida Flames).

                              As for Jacksonville? LMAO.

Hope you're not all going to bring along those goofy eye chart shirts.

On second thought, bring the shirts along: we can burn them at the "dumpster fire" farewell party for "you know who".
