Like it or not your not speaking for everyone with your comment about no one trusting HM. You may not for whatever reasons and you may have some who are like minded, that happens regardless and at every club across the country. IMO your speaking from a position of fear. Your afraid of what might be, what could happen and instead of waiting to see what this is going to look like your grasping at straws. There are still choices for you so best of luck.

I think Orlando needs to realize that without OC the CFk- FSA merger would have never happened because no one trust hue. Yet here we are and he is still involved. I can't wait until my kids are out of soccer and I hope never to look back at this mess. I can tell you why the smaller clubs of the world will stay afloat because people don't want to put up with the crap! Fca has their issue and maitland is reasonably priced with lack of coaching. I could say a lot but complaining about the citrus bowl is the least of your problems.

As for HM, you can say what you want. But make no mistake ECNL is here largely because of his efforts and vision. That's the truth.

Just to let everyone know again for the 100th time. THERE WAS NO ACQUISITION and by the looks of it doing simple math as to the prelim numbers on Super Y, OCYS will be paying off that debt within 60 days.

Maybe you should explain that to Phil Rawlins instead of screaming it here 100 times. He used the word "acquisition" with regard to "acquiring" ECNL in his letter to the coaches posted on the FSA website.

Even trying to read sarcasm into your post ... I still don't get it. The person you addressed was obviously referring to aquisition of FSA or SSC. Rawlins clearly states it's a partnership in that letter and refers to CFK as merging into the SSC club. If OC was to bail tomorrow Central Florida is left with a merged FSA/CFK club that has ECNL, the DA and it's own paid off complex. Seems pretty straight forward to me.

Yes, there was. OCYS acquired FSA and it's assets (and liabilities). Now it has acquired CFK. Call it a merge if you must, but the fact is there will be no tryouts for FSA or CFK, only OCYS. Nothing to be unhappy about. Facts is facts.

Damn, how did we go to CFK mergher with FSA to dogging out the Citrus Bowl? Anyone who has lived here more than a minute knows that the stadium is a turd with a new coat of paint. Still a rotten old piece of junk. I would not give 1 cent towards improvements.

Yet, I hear all these people grumping about the Citrus Bowl and not saying one bad thing aboout the Amway Arena. Folks, in case you have been at the fields the past 3-years, our illustrious Mayor Buddy "Moon Pie" Dyer and along with the County spent $400 million in tourism tax on corporate welfare for the Orlando Magic. Yep. That old broken down 20-year old arena was just falling apart at the seams. We had to replace it with a glittering new "events center" where every single thing is themed and sold by the Orlando Magic. And they got this by agreeing to build some gyms in poor communities.

So if you want to grouse about the Citrus Bowl, consider this. If Uncle Phil decides to build a a glittering new stadium for our home team, will you object to them using tax dollars to build it? What if he agrees to build soccer clubhouses all over Orange County?

Riiiiggght. It would never happen. Yet it did for an organization that has yet to keep a marquee player, yet to win a championship and yet to return 1/10 to the community that supports it with their taxes and patronage.

I think it is great we have soccer in Orlando. I could care less if it is MLS or any other organization. We have a place to watch game and our kids can have heros that play their sport. That will do until we get to the next phase of development.

the major difference is that the Magic are a professional team OC is a minor league team not even the top minor league but the 2nd level of minor leagues. It would be like giving a double A baseball team a new stadium or the Orlando minor league football team a stadium.

Dont get me wrong the magic take advantage of the city (naming right sfor 10 years and pay less than a million?)

You are factually incorrect. You have no basis for the assertion. go read OCYS's own press release. They say they got ECNL by merging with CFK. OCYS DID NOT APPLY to ECNL. OCYS has never held a training session, not had a match.

You're the one who needs to "give it up already". You're bitterness is evident by your continuous repetition of lies.

Just curious of OCYS Super Y wondering if the club is more concerned about money and numbers. There are many teams that have more than 40 registered to a team. U12 boys and girls have large numbers, U13 boys and girls have over 35 on each. U15, U16 boys and girls also through the roof. Were these real tryouts? Is it just a free for all as to who wants to play you can as long as you pay $600? Is OCYS over committing and do they have the staff in place to deal with hundreds of folks who were told one thing and now see another thing happening?

Just curious what others think? If you have been playing soccer in this area for a number of years you know darn well this does not have an overflow of that great of players that you can have 30 to 40 on a team espeally when the max is 25. Even DA and ECNL is not like this.

So will OCYS cut that numbers back of just take everyones money?
