You are trying to make someone feel like you do. I see parents, coaches and even a board member typing these things when I read them. Other clubs are nervous, I get it tryouts are coming. It will only get worse.
Just trying to educate the population bro.......

Just ask him, he'll tell you all about himself.

Nobody said the guy was Gandhi....I said he simply doesn't teach long ball.

This is absolutely not true. As the players get older higher expectations are set and when those expectations are not met ( much like in our daily lives, jobs, etc...) consequences are enforced. At a younger age.....ALL of his players touch the field. The idea is grooming them for the future of competition and tournaments. At a younger age the kids are encouraged to make mistakes and learn from them....by the time they are U12 and competing at a much higher level, those mistakes should be rectified with practice. If not, either the player doesn't understand the system or role he is playing on the team, or he is just not that calibur of elite player this coach demands.

Maybe we are not talking about the same guy. What we have seen - and continue to see is something different.

I think we are referring to the same coach. The difference probably lies within the player.

Exactly, the success that his teams have had speaks for itself. Great coach and great trainer, who like every other coach in the world, has a few who don't like him or have a personal agenda. There's nothing new with having bitter people be critical.

He is great- just ask him. Others think he's a preening poser who's climbing his way to "King of Kiddie Soccer" in central Florida- and attacking anyone who he perceives as a threat.

The "King of Kiddie Soccer" Today, by your logic, would equate to the "King of Big Boy Soccer" Tomorrow. Kids (much to some of our dismay) always grow up and become the future. Like chess, perhaps he is thinking 2 steps ahead and not 1 step behind.

                      As far as "poser"....LOL!

Here's the issue, every parent, including me, wants their kid to be the best. Every parent, including me, gets their ego hurt and is sad for their child when they struggle in any situation. Everyone wants to be the on the best team and when they are not or when there is a playing time issue, you go after the team, the coach, the doc, the club or whatever. It doesn't help your kid. If we are truly worried about player development then why don't you just have your kid with the best coach they can play for at their level. But I guess Ts will never change.

Yeah, you're probably right. He's a strategic genius. A man who sees beyond the mundane squabbles of the everyday youth soccer experience... A visionary who's goals are not apparent to mere mortals who see him as an opportunistic narcissist snakeoil-selling soccer gypsy.

"We've put our egos aside to do this for the kids"- (just dreamy, ain't it?)

He's got an opportunity in front of him to help truly put Central Florida/OC developement on the map for years to come. Only time will tell the outcome, but I do believe he is a good candidate to grab the position by the horns and start producing results, which in the end will only benfit your kids and mine.

Sounds exactly like what we heard 2 years ago, and 1 year before that, and 1 year before that. There's dozens of misled and disillusioned kids between then and now, but the self-anointed Soccer Savior has managed to feather his nest all the same.

No matter for me- my kid is a senior club player and almost ready for college. If it's different this time as you predict, I hope your kid benefits. I just wouldn't put too much faith that it will be different this time. Remember the "definition of insanity".

                                Good Luck to All
