[QUOTE=Unregistered;740400]It's just an excuse for outside people to bash the merger and leadership. FCA sent us a letter yesterday bashing the "mega merger" as well as the pro team. The problem is they aren't addressing the reasons we actually are leaving and it has nothing to do with what OC is doing. Usually people cast stones because they can't stand what they see in the mirrors.[/

Post the email douche bag! No bashing of anything, just factual information to the membership.

Btw the last few sentences apply to you, so let me be the first to say good riddance.

St. Peter came to the Lord and said, "I have to talk to you."
"We have some Cubans up here who are causing problems.

My flute is missing, mojo sauce is all over the place, they are making guayaberas from their robes, they have domino tables in the cafeteria, and they're wearing baseball caps instead of halos."

"They refuse to stop making Cuban Coffee on the heaven's stairs and some of them are walking ****around with just one wing."

The Lord said, "Cubans are Cubans, Peter. Heaven is home to all my children. If you want to know about real problems, ask the Devil."

Peter calls - the Devil answers the phone "Hello?
      ....Damn, hold on a minute."

The Devil returns to the phone, "O.K., I'm back. What can I do for you?"

Peter replies "I just want to know what kind of problems you're having down there." The Devil again says "Hold on, Hold on........"

The Devil comes back to the phone ......"Man, I don't believe this.....Hold on."

This time the Devil is gone 15 minutes! The Devil returns and says.....

"I'm sorry Peter, I can't talk right now. Those damn Cubans have put out the fire and are trying to install air conditioning".

Don't let the door hit you in the ass! You will look great in purple. Maybe they can stitch a little ruffle on your sons uniform so he can be a pussy just like his dad!

First let me say I like CS. He has both trained my daughter and as well, she has played for him. He can be intense with both kids and parents. I have no idea why he left but I do know several people had recently were having issues him on bith if his teams. I spoke with someone at OC who said they didn't think CS was taking his teams and that they wouldn't be surprised to see him back at the club. It seemed to me that CS was taking some time off for whatever reason but I couldn't get a reason. Its really open to speculation but either he was suspended for something or he chose to step away for a while. Next season isn't far away so I guess we will see.
"I have no idea why he left but I do know several people had recently were having issues him on bith if his teams."??? Okay, whatever. If this is the best defense you can come up with for this guy I rest my case.

I keep hearing what a great trainer he is, but where are the results? Anybody? Help me out here. Name one, please.
CS coached a team of young ladies, the original FSA 'B' team that defeated the 'A' team and led to GB taking is vaunted team and running. GB then took some of the girls off of the 'B' team with lies and ran to another club...From there, GB went to Krush and none of the girls he made promises to are currently on the team.

So to answer your question...CS led a 'B' team to a final 8 SC finish. Last year, FSA would have beat the Krush (Original 'A' FSA team) again but they didn't play. FSA destroyed West Pines and went 2-1 in the group and didn't advance while the vaunted Krush snuck through by going what like 0-1-2 or something pathetic like that?

You say name a great player...Part of being a great coach and trainer is not training great players...But training players and turning them into great teammates and a team that achieves more than perhaps it should.

I dont give a rats about girls soccer but couldnt help but respond. You are a poster child for ignorance when it comes to youth soccer development. I dont say that to insult you but rather to point out the fact that you dont understand much about what your players need at this stage in their soccer lives.

Does a trophy case signify if a coach is doing a quality job in developing players? No, not necessarily, but you still see parents clamoring to get their kids on the "winning" teams in the area at the expense of those kids getting properly developed. A player who loses games at tournaments or at SC but is being properly trained with his/her teammates daily/weekly is still going to come out ahead versus a player who is on a team loaded for bear and who seeks to win the meaningless trophies aimed at getting whack-job moms and dads to feel good about their lives.

Not to say the trophies are a bad thing, but when mom, dad and coach are hunting for plasticware and they have kids on the team that are rotting on the bench or who cannot execute basic soccer skills despite now moving into their highschool years then there is a BIG problem.

So if this guy CS is focused on developing his players then he should be judged by that. If he doesnt win SC or every tournament he enters his team into, then this is not a big deal to anyone who has any understanding of youth development. The main measure is when the kids are playing and training - and this should be done at both the individual level and team level depending on age group - are they exhibiting the individual skills and team concepts that will enable them to play quality soccer when they finish highschool.

Answer that for me and then you can rate CS or whomever it is that you wish to bash.

At what age should kids who are talented play at an elite level, a level that winning is generic to playing elite soccer ?

Wow. Reaching back 3 years or so in the soccer history of a bunch of u16s to make your point. That says a lot. Then projecting a bunch of "would have" into the last couple years doesn't do much for your argument.
I Don't think it's really worthwhile to speculate and debate why Carlos has moved on. he seems to be one of those " love him or hate him" coaches- like so many others. He had some success, and will likely have some more in the future. Everyone should just wish him well and move on.

So everyone who is elite should be on a winning team? No matter how elit a league is there is always a top and always a bottom. Being on the bottom doesn't mean you don't belong.

Someone asked a question and it was answered with facts. To give facts, you of course must go back in time. If going back 2-3 years seems like a long time then you are an idiot.

You then close with an editorial because you are above all and know all. You are a sissy. How is that for an opinion?

Going back 3 years in the history of a bunch of 15 year old soccer players and latching on to a single game to make your point is really stretching it. It's not a long time for a sad wannabe adult, but it's 60% of these kids' careers.

                              And I'm not a sissy. You're a poopy head.

I think the point was not necessarily CS Yes he has had success, yes he is loved or hated. I think the point is all the excitement around OCYS is tempered by the fact that BH is so involved. Current U16G team he coached was taken from CS last year 2 weeks before state cup. His U14G the same during state cup. I believe BH's 16's and 17's are out of State Cup. Therefore a desire and opportunity to wield his awesomeness and destroy a U14G team!!! A BH trifecta.
