You're correct that there's no DA, but it's not TS posters talking through their hats. Phil Rawlins is playing the DA card in his letter to the coaching staff posted on the FSA website...."acquiring DA relationships" as he puts it.

There is an old story about he who laughs last. You might want to purchase some ear plugs and not spend so much time writing things you will soon be eating.

Is OCYS over committing and do they have the staff in place to deal with hundreds of folks who were told one thing and now see another thing happening?

Just curious what others think? If you have been playing soccer in this area for a number of years you know darn well this does not have an overflow of that great of players that you can have 30 to 40 on a team espeally when the max is 25. Even DA and ECNL is not like this.

So will OCYS cut that numbers back of just take everyones money?
It would be interesting to see what they do but I think the love affair will be over soon enough.

            super y

There are enough very good players in 12, 13 and 14s to form 2 or 3 central florida competitive super y teams. 2 at OCYS and 1 at fca

The greater Orlando, FL area is the most logical locale for Florida's next USSDA program (albeit on no specific timetable).

The recent developments in the greater Orlando, FL area makes OCYS the most likely benefactor.

Actually, i will be very happy if OCYS gets DA. Nevertheless, I stand by my earlier: there is no DA at OCYS. and I'll take it a step further: There WILL BE NO DA at the club in 2012.

Neither FSA nor CFK had a boys' program worthy of DA. And i doubt US will grant one based on the say so and potential of a brand new youth club with no track record. No offense to OCYS- it's going to be a great club someday- it just hasn't proven anything yet. Not one training session, not a single match.

You are wrong. If they split the teams up into a and b there will be one good team at OC for boys and girls and one bad team. (maybe 1 1/2 for boys) I've seen the kids and hardly anyone was turned away. It wasn't talent I can assure you.

You're the one who needs to "give it up already". You're bitterness is evident by your continuous repetition of lies.
Do you believe everything you read in the newspaper or online Raymond (a.k.a. Rain Man)? Your idiocy is evident in your compulsive repetition of how, in your fantasy world, ECNL came to Orlando City Soccer.

I'll bet $1000 your kid sucks at soccer and will never sniff an ECNL roster.

CFK gone from existence in 45 days....Hallelujah!!!

Parents better get a grip that with 35 kids per team there are tons of kids that will never get to wear their $2 uniforms or step on the field. Its almost sinful though that at the end there really was no true tryouts. Everyone was allowed to register as long as they paid $600. I know for certain that at our age group there were kids that were allowed to register who never showed up to tryouts even after the cut-off of 25 or 26 players was completed.

First of all, you better save that $1000 because you will need it soon enough...Secondly, I have no interest for my kid to play in the ECNL and be around delusional parents like yourself any time soon. That would cause more harm than good. Facts are, ECNL was given to CFK and not FSA. I know that is hard for some of you to comprehend that your kids currently at FSA are going to be on the "B" Team and you're going to be angry at the "Old CFK'ers" again.
But things might change...Some of our "B" Team players will help you get better and maybe you all may make it past the 8's next season in SC. Be optimistic.

Do parents realize that only 18 players can dress out for the Super Y games. Gonna be alot of players and parents that paid $600.00 to do nothing but practice with the Super Y team. This is obviously a ploy to poach players. Clearly these were not tryouts.

Can't speak to those numbers. Guess we will know at the first match. What I can speak to is history. I have yet to see a youth sports team keep a roster of 20+ players. Even with the massive shifts they run at CFK, you still lose players throughout the season. Daddy don't like paying thousands to see Mia sit on the bench and Mia becomes bored and finds other interests. Saw one team lose over 7 players off the same bench last fall.

Might work in public school or college where mommy and daddy aren't footing the bill. It don't fly in club.

You're simply so blinded by hatred you ignore facts. You must have really felt slighted or belittled somehow by some circumstance at CFK to be so delusional. Facts are facts:

OCYS never applied to ECNL. CFK did. ECNL was awarded to CFK. Now CFK is to be part of OCYS, but not until after SC. You're just going to have to live in reality.

As to my kid- you might be right, you might not. I don't see any reason to debate it with a fool like you.

Congratulations FSA! You are now a family with the same people who couldn't care less about development or doing what's right. Heck they dont even care that their members were bailing. Their priorities are making sure they get credit and gosh darn you if you don't!!! This is a good sign for sure! Good Luck with that!!! All I can say is hopefully OC can tame them or else this club is screwed with those .... people!
