Every Surf parent taking part in the Superliga " I need to feel good" trophy session should be ashamed of who they are. Least respectful youth sports people of all time.

Pumas "plays up" at a lower division than Anchor. That is not playing up.

The u12 and u13 teams certainly are playing in the top bracket. Maybe you are referring to one of the u14 teams?

I have seen the rosters of the 4 - u12 Anchor teams, and am fairly familiar with all 4. Don't believe there is 90%, but definitely 80% club players. The 3 other teams aside from pumas do only have 1-2011 and 9-2010s. The supporter is correct about the u12 team. The u13 team, they are all 2010s. Not sure about the rosters they play. They are playing up 2 years though as was previously pointed out, and are playing 11v11. I have no issue with either of these 2 teams.

The teams that matter at Strikers and Surf are not going anywhere, fact. CLP is playing in NECSL. Are you saying PB will be doc of RI NEFC? Teams are pretty much all set for 21/22 season at this point. What will the rosters look like if this is happening? Smithfield Lincoln and Cumberland should have merged years ago. Too many egos.

So why didn't you say it was your opinions in the first place? Instead of saying they are not playing up and doing the same as all other teams player pools? They are not chasing trophies. There are too many reasons to list on why parents move their kids to pumas instead of staying in their town, those would take too long to list. Using pumas as a tool to recruit for club teams, yes. But isn't that the same as other towns advertising to play Super Liga for them as well? For example, Lincoln and Smithfield just posted registration is open to players "from surrounding areas". Was that not setup to get kids there and then move them into the Liverpool/Strikers teams? Face it. It's because Pumas win, and it rubs you the wrong way. Yes, a few bad apples, but they are on all teams. You just don't hear about those bad apples because nobody talks about losing teams.

Why is LR low class? Do you know of anything he has done (other than have these puma teams) that makes him low class?

Who are you saying is abusive? If you are saying LR, please explain? If it is the parents you are referring to, I'm sure the way they are treated by other parents might contribute to their sometimes defensive behavior. I'm pretty sure the kids don't go out there and win a game, then all of a sudden, parents or players start abusing other parents or players for no reason. Why would they? They all just love to play soccer, why would they want to cause problems?

Most of these negative posts about pumas seem to be coming from envy. But again, kids aren't perfect, I'm sure there has been some taunting by these kids from time to time. But that's life, not everyone will get along or always do the right thing. If the pumas did not win consistently, RI TS would be dormant. With the exception of the occasional Bayside bashing of course.

No more town soccer until this drama ends.

At this point we are giving up town soccer. Too many issues and it is sad because the volunteer coaches are wonderful. But the politics, the drama with Pumas, and the mask wearing (still) is a problem. We have had some great games against towns like North Kingstown, Portsmouth, Warwick, but we have had to deal with mouth kids and parents in other towns. Not only are the parents loud but the kids are swearing even at u8! That was Cumberland. I have a couple of kids and I am seeing the mouthy kids on Pumas older teams, and the mouthy kids from town like Cumberland swearing at little kids. The Middletown game is a shame. We have also seen coaches and parents full on bully referees. I hate having to do this but club pay to play and ODP might be the only good options with all of this sideline garbage. We will avoid Bayside and Surf though as it seems the bulk of the mud throwing in clubs come from those two teams. Why can't these parents get a life and let our kids play ball?

Best thing you stated here is no Bayside or Surf for your family. It's unfortunate that those are the only 2 clubs in RI to choose from to be at high level soccer. So I guess you are heading to Mass, which if you want the best pathway for your children, that is the right move in my opinion. The politics is why we left RI as well. LR is NOT going to be happy with you my friend. You are taking money from him and that makes LR mad! He is one of the most greedy guys around. This guy counts every single penny and by you leaving RI the self proclaimed "king of RI soccer" Mr. LR does not agree with you.

honestly- no sarcasm- find LR. He is the official king of RI soccer. Guy knows anything and everything about RI soccer. If I were you I'd reach out to king LR asap for real info. LR rules the RI soccer scene! Others on ts are just pure jealous of his success on multi levels. Long live king Louie!!!

That's why my kids now play in Massachusetts.
