Hi there. I'm not sure why people can't just post answers w/o so much negativity.

The best way to answer your question is to say, it does vary by age group, like any club. You can go onto the NEP web site to see what bracket the teams play in and how they do for the age group you are looking at (or for boys/girls).

The NEFC South Premier Girls u14 team (last years u13) won the RI State Cup beating out
Bayside FC Girls NPL team. I don't know much about the other age group for girls.

The Club in general is very organized and coaching is good. I have a few kids and they have played for Bruno and Bayside FC. I'd recommend looking into NEFC South Premiere as it is a great option for some RI players. It is different than RI based only clubs as has a larger New England network. Teams are regional except for Elite teams. So if your kid is on Elite practice locations can be a haul. But if on a Premier South team you can have practices in Fall River, Taunton or Wheeler Farm in Seekonk. Hope that helps.

What was your experience with Bruno? I have heard good things about the u11 age group but haven't looked at it much yet. Thank you for this information.

It comes down to coaching and the pool of players.Do your research on the coaches. Take the time to go see a team or coach in action. It is very easy to do . Go on gotsoccer find the club and coach . Go the NEP website and find the team. Take your kid to a game or practice and then decide what is best for your kid.

How about the director of the region just got fired for mismanagement and the guy they named as his successor is from a failed RI premier organization? Fired guy happens to be the former coach of the U14 coach previously mentioned. Sounds like a good organization to be promoting?

Premier South teams train either at Taunton Forekicks / Durfee HS / or Wheeler Farm. Quality of teams depend on age groups. My granddaughter has played for the region for many years, and am very familiar with the girls program based on having her, her friends, and their siblings on several teams. Have also personally watched many of these teams at tournaments, etc.

                  Girls
U12 United - Don't have Premier teams yet, but this team is strongest in region which has not lost to an NPL team this year. Will make for a very strong U13 Premier South team even if they lose a few players to Elite. Team is mainly 2004 birth dates as is their also very strong Barcelona team. If you have 2004 girl and you want to get on best team in region, the U13 PS team next year will probably be this team, unless they lose a ton of current players, which is probably very unlikely.

U13 Premier South - Weakest age group currently IMO. Plays mid level NEP. Will probably get stronger next year with addition of stronger 2003's moving up to U14, but still far cry from Baysides team.

U14 Premier South - Very strong team that won State Cup last year, but might still a notch under Bayside, but should make for a good State Cup run with Bruno in the mix too. But looking to be even stronger next year with majority of players staying in the age group. This team routinely plays in top NEP with good success in 2nd tier (just under top NPL and ECNL teams) in tournaments.

U15 Premier South - Pretty close in level to Bayside NPL with Bayside eeeking out the edge with a few close 1 goal victories. Majority are 2001 birthdays so should remain strong through birth year change. Team lost best player to Elite this past year, but has replaced her admirably. This is definitely the second NEFC team behind Elite and will play top NEP and often top brackets at most local tournaments. Should also make for a great State Cup finals rematch for Bayside and PS.

U16 Premier South - Better this year than last, but did lose one of their best players for season due to injury. Not as strong as Bayside NPL, and they have some holes but might pick up some strong younger 2000's from U15 PS team for next year. This team travels too far and too much for my liking however. Kinda like the U15 Bayside team who travels out of NE to play in 6th division at big tournaments.

U17 Premier South - Another one of their weaker teams. Smaller roster too. Probably due to the fact that these were the age groups that were being built when the region was starting out. Might grab some talent jumping up to U18 in birth year change next year.

                  Boys
Less familiars so someone else can break that down, but based on the NEP and tournament results you can surmise that U13 and U16 age groups are their strongest teams. I do know the U12 age group is a bit of a mess. And U14, U15, and U17 are quality strong teams for this region.

I'm not being critical of the self assessment of your teams but when you say the U12 team has not lost to an NPL team this year according to Got Soccer you have not played an NPL team this year. You were not in the Fall NPL league (nor this Spring). I have heard you have beat your own U12 Central United team 3 times in inter club scrimmages. Not sure why you didn't mention or if you should mention that.

It just seems like your post is NEFC recruiting advertisement.

I will add that it appears you played the Seacoast team that played in Fall NPL and you tied them 1 to 1. Seacoast has two teams in the age and they mix teams with player passes or tournament rosters pretty frequently. But regardless you didn't beat them. I guess like you said you "haven't lost" but again sounds like NEFC recruiting advertisement on talking soccer. That's sad.

I am not the OP who posted that longer post, but just for clarification, they have beaten GPS NPL, NEFC Central United, and tied Seacoast NPL team. Also heard they also beat Stars Blue in scrimmage last fall.

The win against GPS was on August 30 about 7 months ago. That is as remote as last year.

Why are you trying so hard to say this team is so good

And why so defensive about NPL teams

Are we still talking about the same team that went 0-9 in NEP league 1, 0-3 NEFC Fall Kickoff and 0-3 in NEFC preseason tournament? Need to get better before parents can start bragging how well the team is.
