If anything, the head coach and VP of CYSA should say thank you to that guy.

The team that you are referring too is very good . The parents should be very proud of these girls. They are technical , agile and very aggressive. They have beaten a bunch of club teams in maple and local tournaments at the premier level.
They will give any girls club team in the state a game and you could very well hear about them being the u12 RI champs in a few years . They are better than the Cumberland Team that went to regionals.

Only one girl left for bayside and she wasn't top 3. Many more have been recruited but they are a tight group and none will go. Should be some very good competition for the mighty Bayside .I hope there is a Bayside team at WWIS this session so we can see how good they really are.

Keep telling yourself how tight your group is. Once the top talent leaves for premier it causes a domino effect. By U12 if your child hasn't moved to a good premier program they have missed the boat. Better players want better competition, training , and teammates. This subject has been beaten to death. At younger ages town teams can compete with some premier. Once they get older it's not going to happen.

Amen. If the "top 3" are really as good as the poster claims the worst thing they could do is stay with CYSA.

Let me take a wild guess .... This Cumberland team is coached by a player's Dad, right? Heads up to the Dad Coach - you will lose half your team by U-12. Nobody who is even semi-serious about soccer wants their kid playing for a Dad coached team. You think your team is different? It's not.

The biggest clowns in the game are the helicopter Dads who can't let go and continue to coach their own kids through middle school and high school. Usually they can't let go because their own kid wouldn't see the field if they weren't the coach. Usually they are self -employed (unemployed) goofballs who rely on their wives to support them.

What does NPL stand for and what does it mean ??
Does it mean they are better than your average Bayside team??either way I like the extra letters. It makes them sound really really good!

my daughter is not on this team (just to put this in perspective).

this team is talented. wwis is indoor and the bayside team is split up,
not all kids playing....it is TRAINING so i don't think you can judge a team
by an indoor game at wwis. (& they are playing an age group up I think)

npl means national premier league. it is a "higher" division than the top
division in the NEP, but that does not mean all NPL teams are better
than NEP Premier. Just different league.
