So my daughter was at uri in the odp Id camp and I was talking to one of the coaches about how the team that scores more goals than it lets in is usually the winner if the game. I knew that these coaches knew what they are talking about, proving once again that my theory is accurate regardless of what some unitelligent people may think

You are spot on. I also asked one of the coaches there and he said that they actually had a discussion about this in one of their end of day meetings. They all agreed with you. You are the great one

Congrats to all the Rhode Island girls who made the pool this past weekend. Not a bad showing for the smallest state!!!

Just asking, not a troll ... I assume the Red is the top group and is everyone else placed in blue or are there players who did not make either list. How many players were there for U13 G

This is what I know. Yes, the red group is the top 18. The blue group is the rest of the final pool. But there were A LOT more girls that attended (not sure of exact number however). The pool names are updated every day of camp, which means you can be in the pool one day and out the next. You may be in the top 18 one day and dropped out the next. Its a stressful and emotional process for all kids, but especially 12 year olds. This was the final pool for Region 1.

Lots of kids 2000 and younger and the older ones way less and cancelled even.

US Club soccer players can play ODP it's just that their club is allowed to have practices on Wednesdays since they're not under SRI anymore. This shouldn't be a problem for Bayside players because half of ODP is made up of Bayside players and coaches. Bayside will still avoid Wednesday nights for practice just so they can do ODP.

They have the schedule when you were at try outs. You could probably contact them and see if they are accepting any more kids. I like it at the younger ages and because my kid plays in MA so it's nice to have them playing with quality kids from RI.

Bayside has sent email to their teams saying the Club now expects all bayside players to place the club over ODP. This is a complete turnaround from previous years. Bayside has essentially told it's players and families that RI ODP is not to interfere with the Club Program.
