Just face it, Scorps suck and teams 15-60 in the ECNL suck as well. They certainly aren't ELITE nor CHAMPIONS, you bought into the dream, it's OK but try to say 0-7 Scorps with no coach and 1 commit to sacred heart are on same level of Stars.

When your kid didn't make Stars, you should have gotten them on NEFC or Bayside. Just sayin
Give it a rest already. Every fact that is thrown at you is deflected with some excuse and then you make a dumb statement to follow up on it. You chose where to put your kid and others choose to put their kids where they want to as well. Actually, kids should go where they want to go and all is well that way.

Good rebuttal, I'm convinced ECNL is worth the money now.

The MA site has a couple threads devoted to the worth of the ECNL. Much more intelligent discussion can be found there.

The whole MA page is dedicated to trying promote ECNL and Stars and Scopions. You people are relentless. Give it a break already. We're only talking about 18-20 kids in an age group from MA, RI, NH and even VT and ME. For the whole state of RI we're talking about maybe 8 kids over all the Age groups. Why so much energy is for my discussing that small a percentage of players blows my mind. BTW, most of the kids that play ECNL could get their college commits playing for a top team in RI. Pure folly to throw so much money away

                  This^^^^^^

That was the point of this thread, not can you afford it but is it worth the time and money. jury's in, it isn't unless you can make Stars and have a legitimate chance for top tier D1 school.
