For some reason I suspect that these threads are started by crazed Bayside parents who just keeping posting and replying to themselves.

You have way to much time on your hand. How may times do we have to tell you that your club is the best in RI . Now that you have conquered little Rhody go and conquer New England and the rest of the US. Back in the day many town teams did just that and they were not flexing their chest . Ask Cracovia and the the boys team that came out of Smith field and North Kingston . The only difference is that know you have pay your coaches when back 15 to 20 years ago coaches did it because it was their passion not their paycheck

Just looked at Scorpion Bowl and Nefc tournament and couldn't find a single bruno team anywhere. What is going on? Are they doing the Jefferson Cup and PDA instead?

For some reason you suspect??? I'll give you a hint, you are right on the money. Count how many posts on this thread and on Bayside United thread it is mentioned that all the rest of us non-Bayside FC folk are "JEALOUS" of Bayside FC. I don't think it is a group of Bayside parents or coaches, I think it's 1 crazed person who loves the word "JEALOUS"!

I know some Bayside FC parents who defected from the club my kid plays at and they are great people. No issues here. They pay their money to Bayside FC and I pay mine. Who cares?

I don't think there is all this jealousy-we are happy at Bruno, our daughter has good coaching and likes her team, and she plays a lot. If she had been on Bayside who knows if she would be this happy. I don't care about Bayside one way or the other-I know alot of kids who play for Bayside and they are nice kids and so are their parents. Bayside is only an issue when I look at what these people are getting for their money-a lot more than I am.

The issue some Bruno parents have is the lack of strength and conditioning or practice time compared to other clubs-not just Bayside. We also have gotten tired of paying the same as a club like Bayside and getting less value for our dollar. We want to stay at Bruno though-it seems like they just don't care or don't understand why parents are concerned.

I think Bruno is going to lose a lot of players next year to clubs that charge less-it doesn't have to do with not wanting to be on a team as much as not wanting to get overcharged-
We have done practically nothing all winter-and next week there is no practice on vacation week-could we even get to play a tournament? Nope.

Is anyone from Bruno listening-do they know or care?

Bruno used to be an awesome club, they were like Bayside and provided lots of practices tournaments and training both strength and GK. Ask any of the old timers that have kids who have played up thru the years they will tell you that changed when JT took over. He has hired some coaches with very limited ability/skill and personality to run many of the teams and it shows week after week. This again will be proven when they can't field teams next year in many of the age groups. Bruno like many clubs before it will vanish in the next 5 years unless they make drastic changes. It is sad that one man can ruin what was once a great club, but not evreyone is born to lead.

JT uses the we're in NEP league as an attraction.
Only Bruno and Bayside FC are in NEP from RI.
So I don't see Bruno losing players.
they won't catch Bayside FC because that club gives the most for the money.
But Bruno is being run as a business and JT is lining his pockets with his dad and d-licensed coaches.

The only real difference is playing kids from further away so it is different initially, many of the parents are not happy! I do think many will leave its not worth the money and as a business you either keep your customers happy or you eventually go out of business. One would think JT would be smarter but then again we shall see next year when he can't field teams

                                Bruno vs other

Bayside, BW, Bruno, TW and other clubs fail to not only promote their product but keep up with it as well. They get you in but then fail to monitor the success/fail of what they promise or stand for. Simply put, the so called directors of the boys/girls programs need to meet with parents on a quarterly basis and survey how the club is doing, how the coach is doing and what can the club do better? This is not done enough or not at all in most circumstances. Who's fault is it? Well the club itself. It hires coaches or former coaches (or "founders")who have no clue on customer service. Their only concern is how to quickly fill the respective rosters and that is it. Once games/practices begin, you don't hear from them again unless they want more money (calendards..raffle tickets..etc).

It really is too bad because their are quality clubs out there who, with a little bit of "customer service is #1" mentality, could make their clubs very successful.
