If you're the Bayside U12 8v8 team, it must really be weird because I think half of the kids won't be returning to Bayside after regionals.

      Wonder if the coach knows?

Don't think the ball will be "dancing" for Portsmouth. I heard the Portsmouth U12ss team broke her arm.

Don't need an arm for soccer unless you are a keeper

I don't think that's possible. Pretty sure rosters were frozen prior to state cup.

There is a new rule this year. You can bring up players from regionals as long as they are from within the club

"A player can play either in U12 Small Sided state cup competition or U12 Full Sided state
cup competition but cannot play in both state cup competitions." SRI has to send both the Regional roster and the original state cup roster so I would think Region 1 folks check to see if they don't match?

No team shall wear the logo, insignia, or other identifying mark of a non-US Youth Soccer organization on their uniforms during the Region I Championships.. gotta like this one..okay for USYS to squeeze $$ out of clubs and state associations along the way and for Pro teams to have a corporate names splashed across their jerseys, but the game will go to hell if a club team puts a sponsor logo on the left sleeve to save a few bucks (in order to pay all those USYS costs..)

That rule has nothing to do with sponsors. Teams can have sponsors.

They just can't have an ECNL logo, or a US Club soccer logo.

What that means is one player can't play for both team at the STATE level. Once the state level competition is complete they can be added to other rosters within the SAME club to go to Regionals....
