That's the point he's trying make - the top talent in state has been predominately at Bayside where they learn to play a certain quick pass style. In high school, these Bayside kids are on their own and playing with a bunch of hackers with no touch or passing skills, without the supporting cast they can't play on their own since the Bayside style crushes these individual players carrying skills and playmaking creativity.

My point is the opposite, the problem with HS is that there is no talent, not that they don't play the correct system or style. No matter what style, the play sucks, it has nothing to do with BS. Players express themselves to the best of their ability regardless of the system or style. If a girl cant receive or make a pass, what difference does it make where their teammates play? The style Bayside plays is irrelevant. At most there are 80 girls in RI playing HS soccer who play for BS, in fact it is less because some of them play in MA or don't play at all. How may girls HS teams are there? Some place north of 40. That means that an average of less than 2 per team. Some teams, like LSA probably has more than two, so that many fewer to spread around. So tell me how does BS have any influence?

As a Bayside parent I completely disagree with you. My kid will tell you straight up that everything she has learned to do at bayside gets her yelled at by coaches in high school. At Bayside you'll sit if you just put a head on a goalie kick and not take it with your chest down to your feet - in high school, coaches just want it out of their zone and heading in the air is awesome.

I agree that some players look awful in high school and excel in premier. I also believe many of them are just playing not to get hurt.

the d2 game will feature far more skilled offenses, the d1 game will feature a tough defense against a moderate attack. Neither game will have any bayside taint.

Sounds foollish. Division 1 teams will always perform at a higher level then a division 2 team. Thats why there division 1. THe EG game will be better and expect the score to be Simthfield 2 EG 0. THe division 2 game will see a kick and run teams against one another with probably score of 6-5.
