      CARLA DeSANTIS
      State Coach

      Carla DeSantis joined the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Coaching Staff in May 2012. She brings a wealth of coaching knowledge and experience to the staff. A native of Sudbury, Carla graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where she earned All-Region, All New England and NCAA Division I All-American honors as a goalkeeper. Carla began her coaching career at Lincoln-Sudbury H.S. Then, after serving as an Assistant Coach at George Washington, she began the women's soccer program at Tulane University and served as Head Coach of the Green Wave from 1995-98. After earning her master's degree Carla also served as an Assistant Coach at Minnesota State-Mankato and then served as Head Coach of Coast Guard and UMASS-Dartmouth. She now serves as Assistant Coach at Framingham State University. Carla is a member of the Senior Coaching Staff of Region 1 Olympic Development Program. She holds both a United States Soccer Federation "A" coaching license and a Premier Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. Carla will be the Head Coach of the U14 (1999) Girls ODP teams this year. Contact Carla at CDeSantis@mayouthsoccer.org
