Please Baysides U15g girls made the Bruno 16s look silly tonight 7-2 while playing without a goalie and and with a couple Bayside 14s.

They'll destroy the Bruno 15s outdoor - some of you parents are so out of control!

Dont think the Bruno 15s are the same level as the 16s. I dont argue that the Bruno U16g team is not very strong. We have the same situation as Bayside--a strong 15g team and a semi-strong 16g team. I think Bayside 16g will beat Bruno 16g, but expect the Bruno 15s to do very well at Scorpion. We'll see about all the Bayside teams. FOr RI participants anyway, look for Bruno to come home with the most wins.

There are a couple girls on U15 that could possibly play for Scorps or NEFC - all I'm saying is I'm sure they don't want to waste their sophomore year next year playing with a team that doesn't get seeded well in important tournaments and college showcases.

I think Bayside U15s have a lot of talent and toughness - more than 16s actually - but still haven't seen them win something meaningful. They need to have a pretty good showing in subs and Scorpion Bowl if they want to attract some attention.

You are obviously not a U15 parent cause if you were you would know that your daughter’s team beat Scorpions U15 second team 5-2 and beat Scorpions West team 3-1. And you also don’t know how to read cause if you could you would have read that I said “Stars of MA have the top two teams” and Bayside “would lose to Stars in the end”. And NEFC has two common opponents Oakwood which they beat 1-0 in sub-regional and we lost 1-0 on an own goal at Regional’s and Nova who they tied 0-0 and we have tied countless times.

I think it wont even be close 4-0 bayside in U16 bracket and 6-0 bayside in U15 bracket. Both groups are strong and have same style of play! Dont they both play in NEP spring league?

The previous post was poorly worded - he was referring to the Maryland team being Region 1 champ in 2010.

The fact is the best talent in U15G has now all migrated to Bayside. A couple years ago all the talent was with Rays, Bristol, and Warwick Firefighters. WFF essentially became Bayside in 2010 - the Rays imploded with a couple of the stronger players now at Bayside. Bristol imploded with best talent now paying at Nova SC.

Bristol has finally realized they can be competitive with Bayside but they aren't going to beat them so might as well compete in Jefferson Cup and try to win something. The only other team that would give Bayside a run for the money is NE Wave but they can't participate because of roster rules.

Bayside u15g are a decent team but this year is their make or break. They've competed but still haven't won anything at the next level - they've added some stronger players so well see what TV does with them. You'll see some kids leave if they don't compete well in sub regional and regionals in July.

The talent that went to Bayside from the Rays was hardly the best.

I didn't have to think too hard while watching them play to a tie last year in the fathers day torunament--a game which Bruno could easily have won. What great improvement has Bayside made since then? None I'm sure.

I would even say Bruno should be higher than Bayside u16s except that really Bruno has only one a single game that I can see over the last year or so, beating a youngr team from CT, although Bruno did (according to gotcosser) beat the very strong Seacoast NH team last year so that is a good thing but overall, I'd say Bayside U16g is a stronger team.

You keep referring to a meaningless game at the father’s day tournament. All our girls needed to do was not lose by more than 2 goals and they were in into the finals. Every parent knew the situation except you. You were out we were in the game didn’t matter. Are you really talking up a tie, you are excited about a tie? Beat the U14/U15 girls and then come talk to us!
