what do you mean "like one of the posters said"? 90% of these posts are from the same goof who pretends to be someone else and then directs the thread in a way that he can bash any club other than Bayside. It's the same guy. You can see him on the sideline at a Bayside game standing by himself since the other parents are a little embarassed by him.

Bayside parent here. I'd like to issue a blanket apology to EVERYONE who comes to this site for information about RI soccer. We have an issue with one of our parents, no doubt about it. We are in negotiations with the Hairy Backed *** Wipes to try and transfer this guy to their team for the next season. Wish us luck, and good luck to all the teams this coming season.

You may want to re think the U-14 girls chances. Heard they got slapped around by Lusitana's U-13G team tonight 5-1 and it was worse than the score. Lusitana did not even bring their whole team to game.

I also heard that the whole TW team was not there & they lost their keeper earlier in the season. She up & left because her father is crazy & shops her around every 2 yrs. They have one of the best, if not the best, RI players on their team... I still think if they figure out their keeper issue they will be very strong.

Lusitana U13 has one good player, she dominates & the rest of the team rides her back. That mom should smarten up & get her with a better club, leave the rest of that group behind. The parents on that team are the most obnoxious in the state & the coach knows nothing about the game.
He just got lucky & inherited a star player, they are nothing without her. As a matter of fact, she didn't play when my Bayside girls gave them their smackdown.

I have no idea who that could be. I didn't see any player on that team who fits that bill.

....Lusitana did not have their whole team either and, it was Lusitana's U-13 team. U-13 !!!!

You my friend are a fool. As a parent at Lusitana I will say this. That coach you say knows nothing about soccer does know soccer and of equal if not more importance, he knows how to develop confidence in the girls as soccer players and individuals. Confidence that will serve them well in the real world as they grow as opposed to the fantasy land of "my dauughter is the next Mia Hamm" that you and alot of your fellow nuts live in. That coach gets this and it is clear you don't. Did you ever think that the girl you refer to is a product of coaching development? Of course not ! You look at what's going on during the game scratching your ass and thinking my daughter is better than "that girl". Right? See....you are a fool. As for Bayside, the girls will see them again.

I can tell you exactly what that is, can't miss him. Never played a sport in his life but since he is paying a pretty penny for it, he knows it all. Bayside "members only" jacket and man capris and Adidas Sambas on the sideline. Balding, Beer Belly and very short. His little Mia does not start, but she is better than anyone on her Bayside squad. When she does take the team for her three minutes of glory, he is yelling, coaching, (because the coaches are not paid enough) jumping (belly shaking) on the sidelines. When she underperforms, the coach is to blame, her teammates are to blame, maybe it was the goalie?? He says it loudly so the opposing team knows, it is NOT the training he is paying a fortune for that made her underperform that day. NOTHING will make him take off that SWEET Bayside tracksuit, he earned that. Between beers he insults the skills of the kids on the other team, mentions State Cup about 72 times.

You are right. Lusitana and Bayside are like apples and oranges. Bayside parents pay 3x as more so they should be getting more practice time and don't forget to pay those fabulous coaches. Lusitana is a smaller, less expensive, family-oriented club. Their coaches are not paid so go ahead and make fun of that coach that does it beacuae he/she enjoys it and loves soccer vs the paid coach who is more worried about his resume. To each his own but don't get all pissy when Lusitana gives you a run for your money.
