I was at fort adams this weekend to watch my daughter play against the U-13 Rays. Well when the rays parents started to make there way over to the field to watch several of them had large plastic red cups. So what do you think may have been in those cups? Kool- aid? Or possibly an adult beverage? Not the place for that folks, this is youth soccer and in my eyes is inappropriate behavior.

The post was not meant to put you or your team down but to bring to light how inappropriate that type of behavior is at a youth game. Enough said...
And maybe the team needs to get new cups...LOL

But naming and accusing people of something you have no proof of is offensive.

Personally, I don't have a problem with a parent having an adult beverage at a youth game as long as they are discreet about it (i.e. in red cups) and they behave responsibly (i.e. don't get belligerent, don't drink and drive, etc.). Also, parents who do such must accept the risk they take by breaking the law and be willing to accept any punishment if they get caught.
I never would do it myself. Totally not worth the risk or the trouble. I got enough problems :)
And believe me, I understand the reasons we have rules against it.
