Agree but don’t think any ECRL players are coming if they are happy where they are.

That’s the point, in this instance the choice in front of you is play on an ok RL team or move to a struggling GA team that needs better players. Lots to consider including which avenue gives your individual player better exposure to college scouts if that’s the goal. Either way, let your kid decide and support her

Really? College coaches don’t have time to care about potential recruits records or team standings. But they are smart enough to recognize when a player isn’t on the first team at their club

Up to daughters to start the process college coaches are not coming to watch “just anyone” they are coming to watch players who have contacted them and given them their schedule

Very true but don't be naive enough to think coaches don't contact kids who haven't reached out to them first.

The only way this is happening is if the coach is there to see another player in the same game.

Tough choices. ECRL and GA are similar from a competitive point of view so flip a coin. The decision comes down to team environment, coach etc.

Stop it. The competition isn’t even close. Feel free to choose ECRL because of all the other choices you listed, but don’t have any illusion that ECRL is in the same level as GA. Just simply isn’t.

Ukies 06 would lose to every ECRL team in the northeast.

ECNL parents are beyond paranoid. They feel like they must protect their special investment, so the deride all other leagues, so the focus one team that struggles and ignore the ECNL teams losing to USYS, GAL, etc. Get over it. Soccer in this area isn't all that great, so any club at any particular age group no matter what the affiliation could be good or bad.

Or make sure you thank you teammate or opponent who got passed over for doing all the leg work.

That’s true but who cares, if you don’t want to play GA then stick with ECRL or even EDP.
