Bucks are one of the few clubs that hire predominantly HS coaches so he controls this secondary income stream. All the HS coaches are very aware of this.
By excluding other players from ECNL creates an obstacle for development and perceived level of play. No one else at her HS in her year can claim they play at the highest level of club ball. No one else can practice in club with the same level of player.
Controlled may be too absolute of a term but more tipped the scales.

None of FCB coaches were her HS coach. I get the perceived level of play aspect, but if you can play, wouldn't that be sorted out at tryouts?

You do know that is the exact schedule of college soccer. Winter off. Practice in the spring with limited games, 3 to be exact. Summer league preceding reporting for preseason.

But it's not apples to apples. Please don't be misled into thinking your daughters senior year in HS (following the Ukie way) will resemble her freshman year in college. Giving up ECNL competition is a mistake.

truth - and not one other CR girl that would be attending either of the HS in this age group was on ECNL = BRD ruined everything - BB screwed his own daughters HS team in the long run by putting #proud girls on the team so they got the benefit of practicing/playing together all year long

It's widely known. The HC would make promises during recruiting about play time , position etc and then wouldn't come through when the season happened. He also made comments about fitness etc that are not accepted in the modern climate. Everyone else was caught up in the house cleaning
