That was all part of BB’s master plan keep everyone but his kid off of CRS varsity - so she could be the only one to make it as a freshman and be the star - good of the team be damned! It is and always was about making his kid a star. And now she is on a HS team that won’t make it to the state tournament.

RL might be better. In the PDA Memorial Day tourney quite a few RL teams beat up on GA teams.

truth - kept any player off ECNL that would go to daughters HS team so she could be the only one to say ECNL - all the HS coaches ask what team you play for etc

Still don't understand. I can see the manipulation within ECNL roster, but when HS tryouts come along, the players who can play will get selected, regardless of whatever club team they play for. Is the HS coach really that stupid?

Of course they are. HS can be worse with parental pressure/cliques. Unlike club you can't just go play for a different team if the coach is a bunghole.

The manipulation occurred at the U13 level when BB orchestrated the BRD - he made sure there was not one other girl that would be going to CRS on the ECNL team.. this way when HS rolled around two years later his daughter was literally the only freshman ECNL player - and bc she did have the benefit of playing ECNL for two years she was able to say she played ECNL and is better than the ones her father relegated to RL. BB tipped the scales in his kids favor all so she could make varsity as a freshman - and in turn screwed any other kid out of ECNL that was going to CRS. Remember BB was a board member and asst coach - he had all the power, and he used it. He epitomizes what is wrong with youth sports. He had his thumb on the scale every step of the way for his kid, and as a result ended up screwing CRS high school soccer. Seriously how is it possible that the high school for the home town club team only had one freshman from the ECNL team that is located in their town? Wonder if he is in talks with Ursinus to take his kid.

You are a little dense. BB was on the board/the boss of the coach/paid his salary. Coach had no choice but to listen.

There aren't many freshman spots on Varsity if the school/coach have policies that dictate upper classmen are guaranteed spots.

My kids school if you are now a senior that has played 3 years on Freshmen/JV then they make Varsity as seniors automatically/by default.

the HS coached didn’t necessarily listen it was the club coach and BB helped make the BRD with other board members at the meeting
