Somewhat telling to the soccer professionals at bucks that my daughter was not invited to join the Bucks 06 ECNL team (which was a true blessing) and the team she is on now is in the same flight at Jeff Cup as the Buck 05 ECNL team.

I just want to thank whoever again for the non-invite it is working out very well.

Lol, that’s crazy if true but not surprised. Even the 05 team would not be placed as highly if it wasn’t for the major inflow of lower Merion players.

The better question is why Tragic is in the 3rd division with 4 teams from PA above them (and three of them are not ECNL)? LM in the top bracket. Wow, everyone knows now .... Evenelow the Mason-Dixon line.

Can you say KARMA! The handpicked little Mia’s got placed in the third bracket below a bunch of EDP teams and in the same bracket as Philly Soccer - who they constantly look down on! And another huge dose of good karma to lower Merion who was placed in the championship bracket! Bet those girls are thrilled with their decision to stick with Merion rather than follow DC to bucks - even though he tried his hardest to get them to follow him - only one was foolish enough to do so, and now gets to play two brackets lower than her former teammates.

You can pretty much conclude that outsiders like the tournament directors don’t put much stock in the ECNL patch on the bucks uniforms. LMAO.

The sad thing is jeff cup is run by an ECNL club so they know full well the level of quality within their own league. Give them credit for putting teams like LM in top bracket where they belong!
Even Real NJ is tops and that’s a daddy coached local township team as well!

If you look, FC Bucks ECNL 06 is the lowest placed ECNL team at Jeff Cup in the North Atlantic ECNL division - every other ECNL team in the division is placed higher.

Who cares?. I think it’s been established on here that the RL parents are realistic and just enjoy having their kids play soccer... doesn’t bother them what bracket it is. ECNL parents on the other hand are hyperventilating over the fact their little Mia’s aren’t the superstars they thought, they have been exposed as mediocre soccer players at best. Instead of being on the path to the national team or D1 soccer they are now headed to a D2,D3 program if they are lucky. No big time players on this handpicked daddy team - It really is hysterical to watch.

Why the heck are township teams placed above ECNL clubs??? The system has gone astray....it’s unfortunate that Jeff Cup organizers are making flighting mistakes of this magnitude.

Jeff cup has traditionally looked past the patch and placed teams according to how good they are, not what league they play in. It is refreshing and admirable to see they place teams according to ability not league. ECNL while still the top league in the country has become somewhat watered down - especially in the northeast. Clear.y the Jeff cup organizers have noticed, and placed accordingly. Bravo to them.
