Nah, can’t blame the 2006 mess on CM - the problems with that team have been going on for years and are widely known throughout the soccer community, you can place the blame squarely on BB and the BRD. Nobody wants their kid to be part of that mess, better off going to one of the many other ECNL clubs in the area.

Isn’t it interesting that this is the only team in eastern PA that people complain about. Another ECNL/RL club in the area could barely field a team in half their age groups and there was not a single complaint on TS. Lots of clubs invited the same players back this spring without a tryout. Not a single complaint on TS. But this 2006 team, a couple disgruntled ex parents just can’t let it go and move on. You guys are emotionally disturbed. Almost frightening how obsessed you are with this team. Someone should put a restraining order against you. This is not normal. Your obsession is creepy and disturbing.

You are correct in that COVID has forced lots of clubs to just invite players back without a tryout, but at least the players on other teams that are being asked back tried out and made the team based on merit at some point in the past. Not true of this team. The players that largely make up this team were chosen, not based on skill, but were chosen in a player's living room by a bunch of parents who felt their kids were entitled to a spot. A result of this is that the team is weak and players from outside the club have no interest in being a part of this mess.

COMPLETELY TRUE the way this team was picked, and BB keeps dangling the "carrot" to those on the RL team who got screwed by his manipulation and that is coming back to bite the team in the ass....no one wants to play for this team or for that matter this club in this age group - so BB should be congratulated for screwing all of our girls...

Even with a new coach and new DOC, BB's thumb is still on the scale. The most striking example of this is him keeping anyone who goes to the same HS as his own kid off the team, including a girl who from RL team who is on ODP, has been selected to ODP regional pool several times, has guest played for ECNL several times and is clearly better than many of the girls on the ECNL team. Somehow a girl like this who has proven herself over and over is kept off the team, and a girl who was decent at U11 when the team played 9 v 9 on a small field, but hasn't really played since due to injury is given a spot.

DC is an improvement over RF. However, he has failed at his first job - he should have found a new team manager. Unfortunately, as long as BB is involved with the team, no one from outside the club is coming to join this team. People in the local soccer community know about him and what he has done to this team, the entire 06 age group and how he constantly has to involve himself and put his thumb on the scale for his daughter. Because of BB, this is a dying team. Several of the 15 have already put feelers out to other area teams - wouldn't be surprised in the least if a few jump ship before the season starts.

This statement is sadly very true - the entire 2006 Crusa travel team is moving to the upper makefield patriots , and the RL team has lost about half of their players, the ECNL team only has 15. The machinations of BB have decimated the entire 2006 age group. And rumor has it the 2009 age group where BB’s other kid plays is also having problems. BB should have been booted along with DM. This statement is sadly very true - the entire 2006 Crusa travel team is moving to the upper makefield patriots , and the RL team has lost about half of their players, the ECNL team only has 15. The machinations of BB have decimated the entire 2006 age group. And rumor has it the 2009 age group where BB’s other kid plays is also having problems. BB should have been booted along with DM. Good luck y’all will need it.

LM players are a double edged sword - yes, if they come, they will help with the numbers and fill out the roster. The 4-5 that are rumored to come are all offensive players, three very good forwards and 1-2 very good midfielders. This would mean a lot of the current offensive players would see significantly less playing time as the LM players take over their roles on the team. The parents of these current players know this, which is why several of them have put feelers out to other clubs in an effort to find their Plan B
