Originally posted by Unregistered View PostFirst and foremost, what happened to LB is tragic. I do not wish that on anyone. But it is part of the sport, and it takes a lot of hard work to come back and be the same player you were before the injury. I know you have a hard time with facts, but the facts are LB was injured while playing for the Deep Run/FC Bucks North team coached by Audrey. Given how this current team was formed, I can understand your confusion between the FC Bucks North team and this team - but they are two different teams with two different coaches. Her position was not held for her, it was actually given to a player from the CRUSA/FC Bucks team. A player who interestingly enough is still on the team and does not go to the same HS as BB's kid. LB has now been rostered on this team for Spring, without trying out or proving herself. She was given this roster spot ahead of several players on the RL team (who we have relied on to fill out our roster) who arguable have proven themselves. Can you answer why these people were not offered roster spots? and why LB was?

You parents all suck for blaming RL parents and kids and all those other teams you've spent countless hours prosecuting on here.
Your *OWN* team is a ****show.
You never can name one positive thing about it, and frankly, it's getting rather ridiculous.
Your kids cry on the field because of their hate for the coach.
TALK TO THEM. Because believe me, THEY TALK.
OPEN YOUR EYES and stop pointing fingers elsewhere.
How many different ways does this need to be said?

One more thing. This page needs to end. The truth is out. People know all about this team and this club now. No one wants to come on here and read your dirty laundry constantly. Everybody just move on.

That person was asking about the RL players.
Then someone gave their opinion that it may not be the RL players fault but their parents fault instead. Do you not think coaches take into account the parents that they will have to deal with?

It shouldnt be too controversial for all parents (unless you are protecting your little Mia from hard work and getting cut) to agree on a few basic principles:
1. Training 2-3 times a week on turf with a paid professional coach.
2. No interference from an unpaid, unqualified dad coach.
3. All coaching decisions in terms of PT and positions made by a professional coach, with no parental involvement.
3. The best players make the team. PERIOD.
I would hope every parent on the team with the exception of BB would be able to agree with this.

Is there anyone out there who disagrees with these 4 points?

Parents and players want regularly scheduled practices, a minimum of 2 nights a week.
Train consistently twice a week on turf (the minimum as stated by ECNL) as an ECNL club, all teams together. U13 to U15 first session, and the U16-19 in the second session. With younger players being moved up to train from time to time.
NO cancelled practices, unless serious weather issues. Back-up plan is needed too.
10-month speed, agility and ACL prevention program.
Parents and players want training and game feedback/evaluations.
Parents and players want a dedicated college recruiting coordinator.
DOC has to be involved with every team, not a single team. The focus should be working with all the players and teams.
No parent coach coaching their own child after U12, but best after U10. No parent ECNL coaches!
Coaches must have a minimum of a USSF B license as suggested by the ECNL.
The DOC position must have standards, right now that is not the case.
FC Bucks must follow ECNL guidelines.
As for those people upset about how the 06 team was selected, the coach, at any club, always has the final say in team selection. The process was no doubt bad, and that is 100% on the DOC for not having a process. There was never any question who was going to coach the FCB teams, or that the 06 team would have an unqualified assistant coach, and a high school, coach coaching during his high school season, which was always going to be a problem. Tryouts and coaching selections are 100% the responsibility of the DOC. The root cause of the issues with coaching and team selection is the fault of the DOC. These issues were easy to spot from the start. It was pointed out in the beginning of the topic and discussed by parents even before this became a sad public display. I am not saying the coaching situation is good, it's not, but the DOC should have taken care of all of this, even after it become a public display.
The concerned parents of the 06-team care about the future of the team, and the entire club. Nobody wants to leave FC Bucks! The pattern over the past few years with 4 different teams, prior to the 06 team even entering into the ECNL, has been the same; kids are leaving, results are poor and college placement is lacking! The majority of the problems at the club come down to poor leadership! It has nothing to do with mean parents on any FC Bucks team, or a child, or league affiliation, or ECNL or ECNL R, or Ukies or PSC or Real NJ or EDP, or whoever is being named this week. This all has to do with the club offering a poor product, and the majority of people wanting improvements. The parents and players want to stay at FC Bucks and they want the club to function with standards like the rest of the ECNL. We have everything to be an excellent club. Simple, but hard changes need to be made.[/QUOTE]
Once again, a person trying to deflect. Maybe a coach, or maybe a DOC or someone on the BOD. But this post was a threat and they are working hard like a Russia bot trying to change the subject. Stick to the issues. 06 coaches need to go! The DOC needs to go!!

FC Bucks now has the recipe to once and for all end this thread, and decisively end all of the controversy surrounding the FC Bucks 06 ECNL team. It is so simple, that it is crazy to think they wouldn't do it.
All they have to do is publicly announce that they are making the necessary changes to this team and within the club to ensure points 1-4 below are being taken care of.
Again, none of this should be controversial for all parents (unless you are protecting your little Mia from hard work and getting cut). In fact ALL parents (except BB) should be begging the club to take these steps ASAP:
1. Training 2-3 times a week on turf with a paid professional coach.
2. No interference from an unpaid, unqualified dad coach.
3. All coaching decisions in terms of PT and positions made by a professional coach, with no parental involvement.
4. The best players make the team. PERIOD.

I think you are putting too much into all this. Most people if not happy with a club will move on to the next club. Clubs don’t need to cater to any demands. They know if people aren’t happy they’ll move on to the next. It’s very common. This club isn’t losing customers. They field multiple teams at every age group.
