The bullying comments are a clear cry for help from parents and players who are being bullied by their coach and assistant coach. We understand that one of the leading causes of bullying is an imbalance of power. We understand that parents and their children on this team are afraid to speak publicly about their concerns with RF and BB, because they are fearful of that imbalance of power when it comes to playing time and other team factors. I think the real interesting question that should be asked, is whether BB uses the imbalance of power that exists between him and RF, by virtue of his CRUSA Board position, to bully RF into allowing him act as an assistant coach. After all, RF does not have an assistant coach at Villa and he is quite successful. Hopefully someone on the Board, other than BB, or a higher up at ECNL is reading this and will investigate this. It is very sad, but all of the comments on this board are cries for help from bullied parents and players.

No sure why everyone puts so much stock in RF in the first place (let alone his assistant). Success at a 3A private school that can draw better players than most teams they play. The guy was barely a pro .... sorry, NASL and ASL are so low level they quickly went bankrupt at a time when anyone that could toe a ball could make a roster. Perhaps you should focus on the quality of the HC rather than the AC dad!

I couldn’t agree more. If it’s competitive, make it competitive and get the dad coach, the politics and back room deals that determine who is on this team out of there and let there be real tryouts. Also perhaps Brian should take your advice and stop plowing a path for his own kid and her friends and let them fail. Yes. Let kids play and compete WITHOUT PARENTAL INTERFERENCE!!!!

My kid was on this team. Sorry to disappoint the 1-2 people left commenting but it was a great experience for her. The coach was great and the girls too. I have nothing negative to say about the experience. I have no reason to lie as I am no longer affiliated with this team.

I really have to laugh at the person commenting with the very creative made up stories on here. This is all very made up to “make this team look bad” and “so no one wants to tryout” as openly admitted by the person posting in one of the recent posts on here.

How someone can be this bitter for this long is concerning.

She was there for that and said it was nothing like that. She said they were joking about this site. My daughter and the girls she was friends from the team were not scared in any way. Can coaches and kids not joke anymore? We ended on very good terms. The girls and coach on this team are a good group.

I'm finding it hard to believe that a parent would try and sabotage their daughter's existing team and club based on some sort of imagined power struggle with a coach or manager.

More likely, this parent's daughter was let go at some point because of the parent's actions, and this parent has decided to exact some sort of revenge by posting to an anonymous bulletin board to try an sully the reputation of this team, coach, manager and club as a whole.

I would not be surprised if this person is playing both sides of completely made up conflicts on this and other threads, trying to pick fights with whomever will play with them, perhaps resorting to conversations with themselves to keep the pot stirring.

It is a masterful example of trolling, but as a result, I don't think anyone would take this thread too seriously, nor any other PA thread for that matter.
