I know there is a lot of misinformation some intention and some not on here, but I can give you a coach's perspective. There are good players in all of these leagues, but unfortunately time and resources are limited for all college coaches so we do look at the higher level leagues first and more often for top players. I was a D1 assistant for many years and am now at a D3 school so I have seen the full range of college prospects. At the D3 level the league you play is is close to irrelevant. If you are interested in playing soccer in college and have the academic requirements we will give you a chance as will almost any other D3 school. At the D1 level is is very different if you are looking to truly be recruited though. We can only watch so much film and go to so many events so we do concentrate on the top leagues and more so the top clubs.

Bucks kids are recruited by the big 5 conferences, and other very decent schools. I am not Bucks parent, my understanding that the club has it's own issues, but they are not bad as many of you try to portraited them. And this is is from a PF parent.

Seems like all the top talent is flooding to GAL these days.

The definition of top talent at least in this area is underwhelming. There are a few what would be considered top talent/players but definitely not whole teams worth.

I would say average to slightly above with a few "stars" sprinkled in. With 3 kids playing over the years have watched lots of local kids and very, very few made me say wow now that is some kind of special.

yes she committed while at Bucks but really 1 yr is a Bucks player, no one counts the Covid year no one played

It's just not a club that consistently puts players at top programs. How many 21 grads? 22 grads? 24 grads?

Why is it that 2 of the girls you mentioned left Bucks immediately after committing, one didnt even finish the season. CM for all his faults did get some results, but its the exception to the rule

Big 5 schools are 65 programs that recruit roughly 8 per yr true freshman that makes about 520 girls per year. Ecnl has 140 teams, simple math says the better clubs are placing 3/4 per year, every year

I never stated bucks consistently placed players at power 5 programs. The club places kids at appropriate levels for the players to be successfully academically and athletically.

I was simply pointing out some misstated facts. The GK was a 2004 who did not play for CM but was only a junior and a 2023 grad, and she did not want to play for CM for her final year as CM was announced as coach for 2005/2004 ecnl team for 2022/2023 season, then he was subsequently fired in late April early May.

Exactly they are called power 5. And of the schools named in prior post, none win their conferences.
