This is still kids playing a game. None will make a career out of it. Sure teach them lessons of working hard and being competitive. Some act like winning a youth soccer game is the pinnacle of success. Fine an environment that fosters a love of the game and leave the rest of the BS behind. So much back and forth about this club or that coach, frankly they all are awful. The kids are pawns in the business that is youth soccer. Looking at our remaining schedule, we probably get 2 wins (PDA South and Pipeline). At best we qualify for the lowest ECNL post season showcase - the same one that RL teams qualify for, and worst, we dont even qualify for that. This is pretty embarrassing. It wasn't that long ago that we could beat teams like Delco, MatchFit, Maryland United, and Bethesda. Now we can't. They have all improved. Nothing magical about this - They all train at least 3x a week. They have brought in solid coaching, and have had real tryouts each and every year. FC Bucks has taken the opposite approach, and the results are starting to show. Wont be long before Pipeline and PDA South also make gains on us and we start losing to them also. #FakeECNLOriginally posted by Unregistered View PostComment
