I think the original poster was simply saying that even if it was an intraclub scrimmage at least the RL team at our age group and others scrimmaged - knowing that we have games this weekend

1-0 home win doesn't even look good vs a school like St. Joes that is on the verge of going under. Heck, St. Joes out shot them and held a 5-1 corner advantage. By this point, Nova should be smacking the other Philly schools and that isn't the case.

Nova put all their recruiting efforts on the 2021’s coming in. Even the game announcers spilled that information.

So they never recruited talent in the past? Why? If they dont understand recruiting, why now will they get it right? Perhaps they are just terribly judges of talent (so many college coaches are). Go to a game and tell me that you dont wonder how so many kids made this roster ... and starts!

Thank your lucky stars you aren't RL. I would do local YMCA soccer instead of RL any day of the week.

RL may not be real soccer BUT its good for kids that never played the sport before. Starting point. Nothing wrong with that.

My kid actually thinks the RL players are pretty good - now that they are able to practice at indoor together - she even thinks a few could make the ECNL team.

Lost to LaSalle, Temple and now Drexel...LOL karma is a birch when you lose your star GK to Clemson.

GK you reference played for Nova in 2019 and 2018. Did nothing. Played in St Joe's game in 2019 and Nova tied 1-1 to St Joes. Nova made it to BE playoffs without her. She had already left team by October.
She isn't lighting it up at Clemson either and they have overall better players.

Why not wish all local teams youth and college good luck?

Obviously you are afraid that your daughter won't make the team this year based on how much you bash the RL team; really for no reason when we are the ones that had the BRD because we weren't confident in our daughters abilities to make a team fair and square
