This is ridiculous! What a shame that the board allowed these Villanova people to come in and take this kind of control of the club. FC Bucks does not belong at the Proving Grounds. There are turf fields to be used in Bucks County but they don't even bother to look because they want practice close to them. They're getting paid to do a job that is in Bucks County. They don't give one **** about this club. Shame on the board! There are other college coaches in the area that would have taken these positions.

You should come play for Buckingham. We train right in the heart of Bucks County. We have good coaches and play good competition.

Because FC Bucks is CRUSA. There is no FC Bucks without CRUSA. FC Bucks have a rec league and a base of players to pull from, coming their own club which is huge! FC Delco does not have a feeder program, they have no players to start with, no base, so that is why they continue to struggle in finding female players, and why they have been in trouble with the ECNL the past two years. West-Mont and Spirit United kept FC Delco floating, but since that went away a few years ago the club is in big trouble now. FC Delco was saved this year by COVID-19. The club started the 2019/20 season hurting for players in every age group. They couldn't field ECNLR teams. COVID has given them time to try to get things in order without people seeing how bad things are going. FC Delco also have no facilities of their own, sure the Proving Grounds are great, but they rent and pay lots of money to do so, and can be told to kick sand at anytime. CRUSA/FC Bucks has been run poorly since EL passed away. DM was not at a level to run the club. The hire of CM was not a good one. But with the correct people running FC Bucks things can rebound. Gotta bring in the right people and things will improve quickly.

That certainly doesn't help but I think the worst thing killing that team is that the parents are allowed to decide who is on the roster, who can "try out", who can or cantngontonan ID clinic ...... All the kids who play on any team should be playing against each other for spots and they should welcome the same from outsiders to come and showcase themselves against the current players. Every year should have been adding 2 or 3 new starters and releasing bottom 2 or three kids. What a difference it would have been.

Speaking of Rosters - why are some still on the roster when they quit the team...is the coach hoping they change their mind??

All of the above. They need to hire people that can make those things happen and that can be done.

Hiring the right people would be a start, getting rid of BB would also help, but none of those things will change the fact - bucks has no facilities to speak of - until the field piece is in place they will never be able to compete. Heck nobody even bothered to book indoor time and zoom calls can only do so much. And if we are going out to the proving grounds for practice maybe we should just merge with delco . Bucks and delco together would be a strong club. As it is now neither club can hang with the other ECNL clubs.

My oldest has been through this ..... The patch is a golden ticket to get looks. It is not a golden ticket for serious athletic $ ..... Talent is. So many kids on my daughter's team got coaches to come to our games at showcases ..... So few ended up with meaningful $ on a D1 or D2 team ..... Far fewer still got meaningful time on those teams until many of them quit. Many of her teammates ended up at D3 schools after getting no offers from upper division schools or the money at the private D3s was actually better than the merit at other schools with a little athletic money sprinkled in. For many kids too, schools like Swarthmore were just far better fits than Seton Hall or Iona. I am sure pay of the kids at SoCal Blues and FC Dallas end up with good money and PT at big soccer schools ..... Our area is not like those places and our talent is nothing like what can be found in those huge, tropical areas loaded with kids whose parents lived and love the game.

EG on roster but quit awhile ago - not a big deal coach just added another defender and also moved Joey baloney’s kid to defense where she should have been all along. I’m sure Joey isn’t happy but looks like DC doesn’t listen to the parents as much as BB did.
