This is a very accurate representation of the costs at ECNL starting at u15 age group. And if you figure in time off from work it is actually higher - additionally since the showcases are three days you may even need hotels for 4 nights depending on your game times, and flight availability. This is what you sign up for with ECNL. For some it is worth it for others maybe not. No one cares what anyone does with their money - but it is valuable information that people need in evaluating whether ECNL at Bucks is worth the money, time and travel. And right now it is not an easy sell for your kid to play at bucks which is why you have seen so many leaving the past several years. With the lack of D1 college commitments it is fair question to ask what exactly you are getting for your money at bucks. And it is a worthwhile discussion - there is no need to bash people for bringing up the costs.

By the time your kid is done with ECNL playing from u15-u18 it will have cost close to $50,000. It is up to each individual family as to whether the cost justifies the results. But there is NO WAY it only costs $4,000.00.

$4k for a dad coach is a lot. $10k is just ****ing crazy

This is inaccurate. U16 and u17 were way cheaper than this.

The team as it stands now most likely won’t exist it will have some different kids - lose some, gain some, but bucks will field a 2006 ECNL team - it may be a watered down version full of rec players but they will field a team.

So let’s continue the ECNL cost discussion- I want to hear from the person that said $10,000 a year is to high . I would like to see their figures. It’s a very worthwhile discussion and one that is valid for all of bucks.

These kinds of statements only give credence to the fact that with this team there is always some kind of BRD - unless this is RF posting which I doubt - he should be the only one evaluating new players, the fact you claim you know some that will make the team next year speaks volumes about who actually runs this team. BB and his buddies. Tryouts are months away but your already know who will be on team next year - very interesting and telling.

This has been said again and again on here - can you find some new talking points? Our competition is ECNL.

Let’s get back to the costs discussion and see if we can figure out if the $50,000 spent on ECNL by the time your kid goes to college is worth it, considering the majority of college commitments at Bucks are D2,D3.

Not worrying about anyone - everyone spends money differently- and to each his own. I’m just trying to get some numbers for my purposes so I can figure out what’s best for my personal situation. Someone mentioned 10,000 per year is to high - can u break down costs that support that? The $10,000 figure was broken down and seemed to make sense, I’m trying to get alternate points of view. Why u so hostile all the time?
