Yes - NCE is not as elite and select as it was 7-10 years ago, when it was called PDP and only took the top 1/3 of academy team players. But it is still an excellent program with high level kids, depending on which location and season one does. Winter is most selective and the NY metro area locations seems stronger than the ones further away. No doubt, it has been hurt by the proliferation of supplemental training - RDS, then the new NYCFC Talent centers, P1, JAMS, SB, JA Elite etc, but they have all diluted themselves somewhat. But overall NCE still a good product. The residential camp was very strong. PLease ignore the BOTN - Larry only posts negative items since Curtis presumably won't cave to Larry's extortionate push to buy site advertising. Curtis has alwways beena fair guy and gave people more credits/refunds for covid then most other clubs/programs

This is all true. Residential camp and showcases were great, many, many college coaches in attendance for the college showcase. On the boys side, multiple players from NYCFC, NYRB, Philly Union, and other MLS Next academies. All other things not withstanding, Curtis is a major presence in the soccer community with a vast number of connections if a player wants to play at the next level.
