They told us 2100 a year and pay as you go for tourneys. The trainer is suppose to be a college coach whom everyone seems to know and want their kid on the team because of it. I think you are confusing this group with the Smithtown Slammers not the LI Slammers. The town teams have very sketchy training and daddy trainers running things and I would agree that that is not worth it. I think this is worth a look. I saw the kids scrimmaging at the tryouts and they looked good. Wasn't a bunch of townie school ball players. They definitely attracted some quality players to the team pool.

That you don't know your ass from your elbow because you round up pretty high, from 2100 to 3000... Go back to 3 grade and learn your math.

the 2100 is for the entire season ( aug to june). Tourney fees depend on what they play( usually about $100 a player in my experience) Also, most of the clubs that include tourneys only include 2 and then "elect" to do more and you pay for them on top.

And 95% of the kids don't need a professional trainer. Whenever I see a LIJSL team with a paid trainer I have to laugh.

None of these clubs have a track record of development except for Albertson and ISA. Which SUSA bought. Does that mean SUSA can develop players? They seem to be good on the girls side and weak on the boys.
