Got the "your a top player in your age group" thing for my kid. They are getting near the age to start thinking about ID camps. Anyone every done a program with this company? I wanted them to do it just for the experience, get an idea what it is like to drop in and play with new players, etc. Thanks for the input

I clicked on the thread since we got the same email and I was curious about the program too. Glad to see the thread quickly devolved into a shouting match.

All depends on why your player wants to do it. Some may think it's a money grab, others something useful. Don't go in expecting to get recruited but if you're using as an experiential thing, getting your feet wet, see how well you can fit in then it can be useful. Targeting the right level is very important in recruiting, so doing something like this can help figure that out.

Don't expect any real recruiting. They are not cheap but she was desperate to play and got a good 3-4 hours of playing time. She was the only 9th grader there. The rest were mostly sophomores and juniors so it was good quality soccer from her point of view.
