Exact ID camp? Anyone ever go?

Got the "your a top player in your age group" thing for my kid. They are getting near the age to start thinking about ID camps. Anyone every done a program with this company? I wanted them to do it just for the experience, get an idea what it is like to drop in and play with new players, etc. Thanks for the input

My kid received as well. I assumed its a cash grab and that they just bought an email list.

says douche from other thread. So either say No I haven't, Yeah I think it is a cash grab too, or Yes my kid did it and this is what I saw. Otherwise shut the front door ahole.

sounds like you need TS to feel important, since you can't bully anyone in person. You are some sheep who probably lurks on the sidelines, frustrated your kid is on the D team and still not starting.......HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Man you r a stupid moron. You are so stupid you don't even realize you are stupid... and clearly frustrated by your own life. Do something constructive like exercise instead of trolling someone who had a legitimate question. shovel your driveway and walkway instead of shoveling the - - - on here.

I clicked on the thread since we got the same email and I was curious about the program too. Glad to see the thread quickly devolved into a shouting match.

My daughter did one of these a couple of months ago as she had not had any games all season. It wasn't bad for getting quality gameplay. Don't expect any real recruiting. They are not cheap but she was desperate to play and got a good 3-4 hours of playing time. She was the only 9th grader there. The rest were mostly sophomores and juniors so it was good quality soccer from her point of view.

All depends on why your player wants to do it. Some may think it's a money grab, others something useful. Don't go in expecting to get recruited but if you're using as an experiential thing, getting your feet wet, see how well you can fit in then it can be useful. Targeting the right level is very important in recruiting, so doing something like this can help figure that out.

Not OP but my kid received the letter as well. This is good info. For me its expensive and my D is only in 8th grade so we're not looking to jump at these things quite yet.

Yeah, this is a good take on it. The only time it might be good for recruiting is if you've been in touch with a college that is going to be in attendance and you can confirm ahead of time they are interested and will make sure you will be working directly with them.
