    Susa ecnl travels to florida

Why would Susa livestream their matches in Florida. If they get back Sunday night, when does the quarantine end? Is Schneider’s kid on any of those teams?

ECNL is doing the live stream for all the games.

I think he is referring to keeping it low key. Susa is promoting it on their social media and are only inviting criticism.

There is nothing low key about it because the ECNL Showcase has been putting it out for everyone to know. It’s being live-streamed so that college coaches can watch all the matches if they can’t make it to the event. Many D3 programs are still working on 2021 and 2022 still needs to be completed. It’s making the best of this situation. SUSA families and players are not ashamed or quiet about the event nor should they!

Isn't there still a youth sports travel ban? I have lost track but I thought out of state even out of region tournaments were banned. I don't care if it's ecnl their club falls under ENYSA

Travel is not banned but health experts are begging people to please not travel at this time.

His kid(s) are done and older now I believe. I am convinced a lot of the negative issues that parents are encountering at Susa stem from Glen. He has done some good things for sure but the hiring decisions, lack of accountability on his DOC's to put together a curriculum for all the trainers under them to follow and demanding from his coaches to put recruiting over training. A company is as good as their employees and he has yet to clean things up and frankly I don't believe he is capable.

Didn't you know Susa and youth soccer is bigger than this Pandemic.

Individual families are not as much to blame as the organizations - clubs, leagues, colleges, etc. with the responsibility for working with young players - that are ignoring the guidance. Shameful.

Extremely shameful and disgusting behaviour by SUSA going to Florida when the pandemic is reaching very concerning numbers. I would be shocked if they don’t get sued.

In general, Susa doesn't care about anything but Susa and their bank account. They love to brag about their college commitments. I get it for some of these kids this time period is huge for them. The climate we are all in sucks, however we need to comply with what is being asked of us. We can't pick and choose when to comply. Some see this as an invasion to our rights. I see it as trying to do my small part to do the right thing.

Too much money in youth soccer (much more than in college soccer). Susa will ride the gravy train until the very end when the kids go off to college. How on earth this event is happening in Florida is beyond my comprehension but again without the event lots of money doesn't flow.

Same thing with the upcoming Futsal Regionals in NJ. How this event is still slated to go forward is mind boggling.

All valid points by this parent. The trainers issue will always be a problem because of location. With so many clubs on LI it’s tough to hire coaches/trainers with the proper licenses for ECNL. The cost of living is such that hiring trainers full time or pay them so that they can afford to live in the area is difficult. I believe the facilities they are building will make a big difference but yes I agree they have to hire quality coaches as well. They are smart business people and they know they need to address this issue.

Why would SUSA get sued? This is an ECNL event and SUSA is attending. No one is enforcing or making anyone attend this event. It’s called free will. How about the 1.6 million people who flew all over the country on Christmas Day? Would you call them shameful or disgusting if they were adhering to the rules and guidelines put out by the CDC. Just wear a mask, wash your hands and adhere to the distancing requirements and live your life. Good luck to all the ECNL teams playing this weekend!

what you actually think is mind boggling is that your kid was not asked to go...the reality is that your kid stinks, like you when you were at the age, you probably still do....once a whiny b-tch, always a whiny bitch.
