Not exclusively outdoors though. Many had indoor practices as well and while these were "optional' they weren't really optional. Coaches strongly "suggest" that the players attend indoors and peer pressure.

The problem is these teams took full payment and now they're not practicing and not likely for another month due to snow.

Exactly. It also seems they added teams to the indoor practices to get more money and the guidelines went out the window. And by the looks of it,the SUSA showcase next week and Manhattan the week after aren't looking promising with the snow and temps below freezing so all these practices are a waste.

You do realize that clubs prefer to train outdoors because it’s cheaper. They make more money and you make less for what you paid for.
