ECNL-Real ECNL
ECNL Regional-ECNL Clubs B teams
ECNL Alliance-Clubs like LI Slammers, NY/NJ/Mass Surf, PDA Shore, ECNL Club C teams

Fury was a big deal because it was probably the most successful & storied program that LI ever had (before it got run to the ground), but buying up little EDP clubs to build their revenue is old news. I don't live on Long Island and had to look them up, they look ok.

League is C teams from Albion, Classics Elite, Challenge & Sting Austin and then a few "alliance" clubs (franchise type operations like LI Slammers, NY Surf) like Sting San Antonio & San Antonio Surf and a few random clubs.

Susa has just taken over the DOC responsibilities. Fury FC was a few GDA teams and quite frankly most kids are opting to not go to SUSA.
Albertson Fury was a founding member of ECNL and a mainstay for many years. Fury FC, an extension of Albertson Fury, was the premier LI GDA club for a few years. Paul Riley, the NC Courage Coach was head (or involved to the best I can see) in both to some extent.
Albertson Fury is no longer in ECNL but Susa is, Fury FC was sold to Susa and Paul Riley is now affiliated with Susa, at least on paper. The boys teams that play in boys ECNL are listed as "Albertson SUSA" teams. So, on paper, Susa's involvement in all of this is noteworthy. Susa buying another town club nobody's really heard of, to fatten their revenue stream, is not.

What exactly is there connection to either Christen Press or the Slammers which s a west coast club.Your playing this town team up like it’s a big deal.....they are not. As far as SUSA being nothing, well, they play n the top league ECNL. What league does Smithtown play?

Maybe you don't like Slammers or whatever, and maybe the merger doesn't work out, only time will tell, but at least get your facts straight. Smithtown is the Smithtown Slammers. Come on man, do your homework, even if just a little.

You say-"Do your homework", why?- this doesn't affect anyone outside of your town and their club. Big ECNL clubs (Surf, Sting, and now Slammers apparently) have satellite affiliates all over the place, it means nothing to most people outside of the club. My D played ECNL this year and GDA last year, never heard of Smithtown Slammers and if I hadn't seen it on this board probably never would have.

CDA has Slammers teams in Cerritos, Diamond Bar, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Orange, and Whittier who look to have just licensed the Slammers name to slap on their kits-IE, CDA Slammers FC Cerritos, CDA Slammers FC Fullerton, etc.
Same with South...South Slammers FC South Bay, South Slammers FC Whittier, etc.
From what I can see, the CDA & South Slammers teams play in Cal South (the California equivalent to ENY) under USYS and not in the National League, more like the EDP type conferences ranging from like Lijsl/WYSL type level to EDP D1-D2ish.
So I'm still a bit befuddled as to how the LI Slammers are associated with ECNL and Christen Press...
