I thought Nysc players can’t make wc? I’ve heard that for a pretty long time on TS.

It can be done, my D did it 3 years ago, but it wasn't easy, she had to earn every minute, she had to fight for every ball, and she had to show those NJ and Rockland girls, what's what....

Please don't listen to the World Class blow hards on these threads...granted the 2005 team is pretty damn good, especially with the 2006 HS POY-but the older ages are dreadful, including the 2003s. The NT player is very impressive, but the rest of the team isn't and the 2004 team is straight up kick and run.

The girls on nysc are technical but soft players. Theyre well trained especially if they played for SS but when it gets physical and intensity is high a lot of them back down.

also it isnt a problem with the kids just the curriculum CG uses doesnt really train for high intensity so they dont learn that way

Incorrect. This is/was a discussion around the GAAP and how it's designed to give the player a voice. That's it.

I understand everything dissolves into a "general discussion about GAL", but once the fools have taken over the thread, it's all fair game now.

Lots of calls and emails the first 3-4 days, teetered off towards the end of the week. Today started round 2. Not as many calls & emails (presumably my kid is not top on the list for these schools) but still enough to make it hectic-ish because last week's schools are following up. The multiple modes of communication (email, text, phone calls) made it a little stressful for my kid to keep on top of everything, but I think she handled it pretty well.
No offers, but a good amount of invites for OVs date TBD based on campus re-openings. Looks like some schools are comfortable bypassing the "ID clinic" stage or at least that was the impression they gave.

I want to know how she is doing and wondering what her safety school is. I wanna know how the Dad is too. He seems amazing and so willing to share his experience. Is he coping ok with the pandemic and eating well and exercising regularly? Now I am overwhelmed with concern. Nt
