Is a shame that most people (all 15 of us) who read this are conditioned to crap on Barca when a setback occurs because of all of the crap that some absolutely crazy parents write on this Board on behalf of Barca (admittedly that group appears to be very small also). I have written numerous post defending Barca because I know a few parents with children in various age groups and they are all nice people, just want what is best for them and their family; yet, even I chuckled inwardly when I read the score of the recent match.

Good luck to all the boys, it ends quick, enjoy it while it lasts.

As a Barca parent myself, I have to agree with you that the final score on the friendly made me "chuckle" as well hoping that now the 06 Pro group will be humbled and the parent are less vocal.

That is all from a couple of the parents and about 5 players. Team is good but i would never even consider moving my son there because of the toxic environment. And yes, he would be a top 5 player there so didn't even try it.

it was Barce 06 top team vs New York Soccer Club's boys DA team 06.

It was a good game, they (NYSC) won 5-2, but it wasn't the score that mattered.

It was a chance for both teams to work on their game and tactical approach. The first half was all us, and the second half was all them.

good showing for the 2006 NYSC DA team and a nice boost as they are 0-3 this season after losses to Beachside, World Class, and TSF. Surprised they did a Sat DA game-Sun friendly back-to-back when they have an open weekend this week.

The team this year isn't as good as the one last year even with the DA rejects they acquired. Their top scorer from last year won't be easily replaced.

NYCFC and will be the starter at striker. Boy is very good and deserves to play for a real DA team. The loud mouth parents were very upset which i find funny because they have poached players themselves.
