Never said GDA was at fault, said USSF was. Lack of proper scouting, mediocre regional training centers, lack of consistency, etc. And lets be honest, USSF couldn't have been terribly disappointed with the job ECNL was doing if they handed out almost every GDA badge to an ECNL club in its inception. Like I said, same clubs, same coaches, same players all USSF did was rejigger the playing schedule.

But huge changes as far as playing (not many consecutive games occurring like ECNL) and the training which is huge vs. playing. ECNL was doing a good job, but with some teams/clubs GDA did much better. Plus ECNL favors the big clubs so they can do entire roster changes on the field without limitation. No real coaching needed; just fresh legs. GDA forces coaching to occur on the field by the players as well as the coaches.

Exactly. And if there was any money to be made finding and training top female soccer talent, it would happen. But that is not of such great value so oh well

Good point. What some deem a negative (once you sub out you can't come back in again) is a developmental benefit. Learn to play through your mistakes vs. being yanked out every time you make a mistake.

Get rid of the stale coaching and players that have been in multiple cycles and still don't live up to the hype. Don't expect change unless there is change.

Still don't understand how it turned this way. My kid never comes off the field, but that's irrelevant. How that has anything to do with some clubs calling four teams "Elite" in a single age-group relates to perceived lack of playing time is a curious way to redirect.

But, I get it. Personal, misguided insults tell more about you than I....
