    Those are last year's rosters.

Kaz has nothing to do with the boys side at NYCFC.

That shows how much organization respects us, we are last years story, and that list is missing an entire team, 01/02, hahaha, NYCFC are a bunch of conts...

Not even sure why we wear their crappy uniforms, as they don't give a flying puck about us...

Not the op, but I think he was pointing out that NYCFC doesn’t support the girls program as much as they did last year. It’s completely possible that WCFC made the decision to leave last spring, therefore they both conspired to sabotage the girls academy in Orangeburg area.

NYCFC went to play at Penn Fusion last weekend and are playing in their showcase this coming weekend?

It really is sad that they have decided to not support the girls program. My kid is not on that team but I think most people generally just hoped that NYCFC would increase their support for girls soccer and that Red Bulls would follow and that girls soccer in general would benefit.

I guess it shouldn't be a surprise though, the CFG is a crappy organization, lead by crappy people and the idea they'd ever put a dollar towards a girls program was naive.

It's a business. There is no real money to be made in women's soccer and for girls the goal is college, not a pro path. Even if it breaks even financially (probably given what they charge) it still consumes resources and their bread and butter is the men's side. Maybe, just maybe, it could have survived if GDA was kicking butt, but it isn't. if more MLS clubs had seen a future in it they would have gotten involved as well.

Are you serious? Do you think they decided to SABOTAGE young girls dreams? REALLY? I’m sure you have some conspiracy theory all played out in your head pal, but the truth is US soccer did not invest anything into this program. They gave the GDA badge to anyone who asked for it, which became evident when they allowed NYSC in at the last minute, and then when they gave Paul Riley 2 clubs on LI. I’m surprised NYCFC didn’t pull out as soon as they announced NYSC was in. I can tell you for a fact that they were not happy, as Kaz told me himself that he had a very heated conversation with US Soccer at that time.
Believe what you want. I choose to believe that uS Soccer screwed themselves

No money in England for women's soccer either, yet Man City field a pro women's team.

I doubt Kaz got into this with only 2 years in mind, its not the way he sold us on the program. Honestly, my kid loves the club, the girls, the complex, its all-good for us. I do agree that Kaz is not happy with the implementation in the NE. The idea was great, the follow-through by USSDA was poor at best. Some people want to believe that there is tension between the WC and NYCFC families, there really isn't, no more so that any other competitive club. There will always be manipulative parents trying to get an edge for their kid. We came NYSC. and I can tell you 100% that on this side of the river the competition is tough, and only the strong survive. Go NYCFC!!!

Only thing you need to know about the MC Women’s team is they went to participate in an ECNL national event last year, and ignored us completely, that my friend is all you needed to know. Bunch of money hungry oil men running this show...
