Only u12 is a pool, then it goes to 1 squad for u13+. For u12, most clubs give lip service to pool in Fall and do "soft" balance (throw a few A team kids on the B) week to week but by Spring there is usually a clear A and B. Then the B team kids are all at risk of being cut. All teh DA clubs u12 seem to work this way.

how is that even possible - when 2 squads of 24-28 kids condense down to 18-20 on 1 squad as the game shifts from 9 v 9 to 11 v11. unless they had a bunch of 07s playing up or had very small roster to begin with.
