These costs are much cheaper. These are "all in" fees. It includes winter indoor costs and all tourney fees. The only out of pocket in addition to tuition are uniforms. Other clubs are much more when you count indoor facility fees, tourney fees and trainer travel fees.

Depends on who you're comparing to. Both my kids' clubs (both regional teams, not just in state) are close to that and are also "all in" (except uniforms). $100 here or there isn't "much cheaper."

My club's fees are 2750 and it includes everything, even practice and game uniforms. (The club is FSA in Ct)

Alby and EMSC are about $3800 when you add up everything you get charged for throughout the year. With bubble fees PR is almost $4200.

Cedar Stars is $2400 including game kits and training kit (yes separate kit of shirt, shorts and socks - no t-shirt shirt either).

Our "all in fees" are within $150. Is there another type than all in with surf? Doesn't appear to be a bargain from where I am sitting. Aren't travel fees (hotels, food) extra as well? What does all in mean?

All in means the extras like winter training which a lot clubs charge for separately.

Still doesn't explain why Westchester and 5 boro kids pay $500 more each for the same club.

Several clubs I know are charging less for the high school age kids b/c they are playing HS. Why isn't Surf doing this?

well the older teams appear to be showcase teams that are doing NEWSS CASL DISNEY JEFF CUP AND PDA all very expensive tournaments - add in they are practicing at college stadiums it all seems actually low.

What is the breakdown of the $3800 breakdown? I was told a lower amount (not including travel expenses and hotels), so wondering where the extra $$ comes in.

What drives the expense for older HS players is the cost of indoor space. Not a lot of indoor facilities in Westchester

So it costs 40K more to coach Westchester kids for indoor soccer?

                                Hypothetically:

                                5 Westchester teams x 16 kids x $2950 each = $236,000
                                5 LI teams x 16 kids x $2450 = $196,000
