We need coaches who care about the kids.. Who cares if there is any type of relationship.. If kids enjoy playing, are developing, and there is a great family atmosphere on sidelines the kids will continue to play..

Even town clubs no longer field competitive teams as you enter HS ages. All the good talent leaves for the high level girls academies.
Do no waste your time with parent coaches. Especially paid parent coaches. That is an absolute joke. Stick to the pros at PSA, CSA, PDA Shore etc. stay away from clubs like Wall, Howell, Twin Co etc.

Many of the girls on the national team had parent coaches in club.

Also, if I’m not mistaken many boys.

There are great parent coaches. And the bar is low.

Why are there so many pro coaches who don’t have kids at these clubs?

May I ask if you are a parent or trainer at a club that has the word academy in it?

Huh what does that have to do with having your kid play GA at highest level in country vs low level EDP with crappy untrained parent coaches. Clubs like Wall, Howell are imploding because of poor leadership and coaching. Check out CSA if you want to play at highest level. If you want guarantee of your girl play next level go for best.

Unfortunately not every kid is built for next level or higher level of soccer. That’s one of the good things about youth soccer. There’s something for every skill level. This is why I don’t get why so many people on this blog talk so badly about town soccer. Who cares. Some kids want to just get out there and have fun and others want to make soccer their career. And both are perfectly.

Yea.. Everyone's going to CSA.. That is why they need to post on facebook they are looking to fill roster spots for the fall. It's all about the $$$ without any development.

What in the world are you talking about? CSA’s rosters are full. Where are they posting or advertising looking to fill open spots? They play on the top platform for girls in USA so I’m sure the demand is there.

Post saying they are looking to fill open roster spots and that they compete in all the prestigious leagues. Not saying they are unable to create teams but maybe they are looking for better talent. Kind of shocking that they wouldn't be able to build top teams through internal development.

Considering they have at least two teams for each age group, maybe they want to ensure enough players for the second/third team or maybe there has been movement between the B to A team. Why is it so shocking that a club is looking to fill open roster spots to ensure that there are enough players for all teams?
