ECRL ECNL substitute rules are aweful.
Once subbed out cannot play for the rest of the half.
Is GA sub rules different?

Prevents teams from bringing 30 players against team with half that and subbing entire teams.

Wish they did that this weekend for ODP while Philly EPA brought 30+ and subbed the entire team at the half and every attacking player with 15min to go. Our poor girls running lean with 14 were dying from the heat an no water breaks.

I believe all the leagues (and tournaments) have a maximum of 18 players that can dress for a game. Rosters can be bigger but for any game, you cannot bring more than 18 players. ODP is different - it's a development platform and they try to get as many players as possible into the game.

Before you spout lies and false information you may want to realize that those results are still on the internet. Firstly, GA teams were all bracketed in the lower flights. Only GA team at 16s and 17s in the top two brackets (Baltimore Celtic) lost pretty much every game. The simple fact is that ECNL has all the top clubs and players and the GA has quickly become the established secondary or even tertiary level. Facts are facts. There are no GA teams anywhere close to the top 50 in the country at any age group.
