Why is a boys director coaching a third tier girls team??

I would guess because there is only 1 boys team total, not much directing needed and 3x 2011 girls teams. Someone has to coach the one girls team that is actually paying the club.

This shore team doesn't interest me, but this post hit on another question. What are considered "high level tournaments" for the age group I noted (U10)? Is there even such a thing at this young of an age? I suppose a better question would be, what are the *most competitive* tournaments (especially those that are in the tri-state area) for YOUNG kids?
EDP usually has competitive games at all their events. I don’t think you can go wrong. Always well attended. My D played the spring and fall cup and I think there is one MDW too. Goodsports has a good tournament in Feb I believe. At that age I agree that I wouldn’t be traveling to the likes of WAGS, Super Copa, Bethesda, but maybe for FC Delco OR Penn Fusion those are in PA. If I remember correctly Delco is on a holiday weekend, I think Memorial Day. I’d do the EDP tournament before going to PA if that’s the case. Some towns offer some fairly competitive tournaments as well.

Ah that’s the old NJX team. Now I get it. Hopefully they realize they are being used.

Nope - they all signed back on for 2021-22!

All being all your 2011’s or all being the paying NJX players?

Does that mean the boys director is still coaching? I guess there is no hope for a boys side there if that’s the case.

Yes, D's been on a team that ended June 1st unless they had games pushed back into June. Reasoning was that the new team could get a jump on the year doing the early summer tournaments.

We had 1 in fall and 3 for spring although Jeff Cup was cancelled so 3 total.

Yes, that's how they lured the NJX players back by keeping the coach

I predict that won’t end well.

Entering low level tournaments or low flights in EDP tournaments. I guess that is why they are falling apart after 1 year. Sounds like a real winning program I can get behind. HAHA

It really depends on the coach.
                                Typically 2 per season included.
Been on teams that did 1-2 that’s it.
Been on teams that did 4-6 per season.
Of course we paid extra for anything above 2 per season.
At the younger ages it’s easier due to cost.
You can book 4v4, 5v5,7v7 for a few hundred.
EDP, Jeff cup, etc $1k +
