    How many tournaments?

Just looking to get an idea of how many tournaments the different clubs participate in during a contract year. My D does 6 total, 3 fall and 3 spring. Sometimes optional events over the winter with an additional fee. I see some teams in our age bracket (U10) that seem to go to practically all of them, and it made me wonder. Is 6 included in tuition annually typical? Are these clubs charging tournament fees on top of tuition?

It depends on the club. Matchfit & Matchfit Shore has a bunch included but if the coach and parents agree to do more, the tournament fee will be extra and divided by the team. CSA has a set amount of tournaments per season (1-2), same with PDA (at least at younger age groups) as well as PSA. Liverpool makes it dependent on the strength of the team seems like. Not sure which club your D is at but 6 seems to be a decent amount.

Some of this information is inaccurate. Which surprises no one at all.

        “A bunch” included. Lol.

The CSA and PSA info is incorrect. I know that they both participate in more than 1-2 per season 🙄 .

CSA includes 2 in the fall season and 2 in the spring season. The paperwork you are given states 1-2 per season, but has always done 2. So the CSA information was correct.

Not sure when you had your experience but in my experience it’s more also with the option of summer and winter could be additional 4-6 you pay for though.

CSA equals low level tournaments and entry into an even lower flights ..Rip up that contract and go elsewhere .

What far superior tournaments does your club participate in?

I’ve actually tried to find out how much it is at MFS and what is included and there is not a straightforward answer.

Been in top flight of EDP tournaments almost every single one for several years in a row. not sure how that is considered low level. sounds like someone is spouting out misinformation here.

Fake news .. Do your research it’s all out there to review on Youth Soccer Rankings . All you have to do is admit it, Neptune Classic is slated as a Summer Select tournament . Top Flight ? Hardly a top flight tournament . It’s a local low level club tournament that an Academy should be embarrassed to play in.

It’s free according to all the CSA coaches who pretend to be parents on this site .

The misinformers are the Bitter Bobby’s- take one guess which club they are with now.

It is accurate that a few players are not paying. I am not implying that of the 2009’s. It is odd that you can not receive factual straightforward information regarding season costs and what’s included in that. Also what additional costs would be associated etc. I found it strange. Ask a question about cost and instead of a direct answer received a sales pitch.
