Keep scouting out of state. Most NJ youth players and families now know the truth about PDA. Distant states are easier to scam at this point. Eventually that will slowly stop as well.

Why can't people just agree? GA and ECNL are both good platforms. Each gets looks from top schools as well as most others, each has strong and weak clubs, each has great and trash coaches. Sure, ECNL is at the top but that is realistically not indicative of the ECNL divisions here. Really it comes down to what your kid wants, travel and cost. Assuming your kid can make either and be a starter which would be best? For them to be on a bottom 3 ECNL team that garners 0-3 wins a year or on a GA team that competes at nationals?
