Hey Matchfit, when will you stop with the lies to make your club look legit? On March 2nd you posted on your social media pages "Check out the confirmed teams already at our new location Match Fit Shore! We are so excited to be set up right in the heart of Monmouth County! The interest has been overwhelming and the area is saturated with incredible talent! We are very excited to provide this area with the pathway to the highest level and best leagues in the country!" Then proceeded to say that the Shore location has 2 teams 2014 girls, 3 teams 2011 girls, 2 teams 2010 girls, 2 teams 2009 girls, 2 teams 2008 girls, 2 teams 2007 girls, 2 teams 2005 girls and finally 2 teams 2002/2003 girls. Did you let Tetro count all the teams when he was drunk? Your lucky if you have 1 team per age group, and thats giving you credit. Also, you went on and on a few months back about a "huge announcement " for MF Shore. Here it is May 5th and were still waiting. For everyone reading this thread, the proof of what I'm saying is out there, on Mathchfits own social media pages. Be very careful of a club that boasts fake numbers to try and make themselves look more important thay they are. Regardless of what you read on here, MF Shore is NOT the new destination club in NJ. They want you to believe that, but the numbers don't lie. The Shore had a very low turnout to tryouts, and there wasn't enough kids to form a second 09 team, and yet MF announced on March 2nd they did have one. Very shady club. If you want your kid to succeed in soccer, there is only one club in NJ that is constantly listed in soccerwires "top clubs in the US". PDA. They also are one of the top club in the US for the most D1 school scholarships. Don't believe me, check it out for yourself.

These salesmen tell parents what they want to hear and parents cough up the money, most learn the hard way. Very sad.

Their rationale was that college coaches are looking for tough players on the pitch who will be physical. You can’t make this stuff up. Parents are not naive if they look with both eyes and take off the blinders and see the entire situation. It’s easy to vette a coach/club/team by looking at their alumni list, prior players and parents you trust about their experience with the club.

Let’s also recall that MF was THE ONLY CLUB to get officially kicked out of Boys DA. No space, crappy training. A scam.

This has been said many times over the years about RT and continues to be true now. He is by far an excellent salesman and that is all. He did not develop any of his current teams from the ground up. Many of his players came from other coaches and trainers (and continue to be trained by outside trainers) came from teams that he could not beat so he broke up, came from his ability to sell whatever it was that he knew the parent wanted to hear. Their IG account is riddled with half truths and “look at me” posts so parents can feel cool that their kid got a shout out on the parent run IG account. Sadly, your blinded by his glossy sales tactics and will realize too late that he has zero ability to properly develop your player, he has made too many promises to so many people that his starters are based not on ability but on if the players parents are loyal to him. He will talk about you to other parents, he will talk about your kid to others parents, he will manipulate situations and he will treat players and parents poorly. It will happen. Sooner for some and later for others.
“Big announcements”, “record numbers” all BS. If you’ve met RT or have a kid that played for RT you know what I am saying is true. Maybe your on the “inner circle” but you’ve seen it done. It’s been said hundreds of times over the years. I’ll be interested to see what happens in the fall. He has a lot of promises to keep and parents to keep happy. Good luck!

There is no cutting at MF. They will ALWAYS take your money and spin a story. If you want real training, or a chance to be happy, just not the place to be. Out of 20 or so MF families I know - only 3 were genuinely happy and kids went onto great college teams. They also ignored MF and did all the hard work outside of the club against the rules.

You folks are pathetic. People are obsessed with MFA and MFA shore. It’s kids playing a game. 100% certain the person who posted this is from some other club not named The Players Development Academy.
